Eamonn Holmes brutally admitted he was ‘quite embarrᴀssed’ by pal Davina McCall’s outfit that she wore to the BRIT Awards on Saturday night. 

The 65-year-old spoke about the 45th annual star-studded bash, held at the O2 over the weekend, with co-star Ellie Costello, 31, Dawn Neesom, 60, and Suzan Holder, 57, on Breakfast with Eamonn and Ellie on Monday. 

Dawn believes that women that claim wearing little clothing are ‘reclaiming their Sєxuality’ is the ‘biggest con that women have been sold’. 

Suzan then brought up 57-year-old Davina’s see-through lace maxi dress outfit, to which Eamonn said: ‘I was quite embarrᴀssed by that.

‘I was with Davina, with her the night before, having dinner. I couldn’t look at her the same way…’

Dawn replied: ‘She was wearing more than that when you were having dinner, hopefully?’

Eamonn confirmed: ‘She was. She was.’ 

He added: ‘She was in love with life.’ 

Davina underwent surgery last year after doctors discovered a cooloid cyst in her brain. 

Suzan said: ‘That’s fantastic. The fact that she’s well. As I say, she looks great. That is what she will tell you…

‘It’s empowering. I want to do this. That’s fine. But I know people who work in telly and women that work in television.’ 

Suzan previously said in the segment: ‘Davina McCall, who looks great, she’s perfectly decent.

‘She’s wearing a sheer dress over bra and pants. she looks great. she’s been through a lot.

‘I don’t want to criticise another woman, but to me, you need to look like, she’s in the paper because she’s competing with those other women. 

‘That’s what she’s doing there. It’s a shame she feels she needs to do that.’ 

On Saturday night Davina opened up to the MailOnline about her decision behind her risqué ensemble.

The TV favourite told us on the red carpet: ‘I just thought, how disgraceful can I look? 

‘I’m growing old disgracefully.

‘I thought what should I do? And I thought go see-through.’

After a number of months away from the spotlight, the presenter is feeling more herself again.  

Davina exclusively told us: ‘I’m feeling amazing. Brace yourselves, I’m back.’ 

Last week Davina revealed she was comforted by the spirit of her late father after her brain surgery. 

And she also admitted that she had named her brain tumour and threw it a party with speeches and songs.  

The former Big Brother presenter took to Instagram last night to share some snaps and videos from the event.

Davina said:’Wow, Michael@,dlondon, and I, had such such a brilliant time last night at the @brits. Just want to say a mᴀssive thank you to @itv  for inviting us. Saw lots of old mates , laughed danced and sang all night and @jackwhitehall was epic.’ 

Many rushed to the comments section to praise her stunning look.

One wrote: ‘You look INCREDIBLE! That DRESS.’ 

Another simply said: ‘Stunning.’ 

‘Wow just wow and wow once again,’ a third added.
