Kylie Jenner has been blasted for her ‘rude’ behavior behind the scenes during the 97th Academy Awards in Hollywood on Sunday.
During a commercial break, the 27-year-old reality star’s Oscar-nominated boyfriend Timothée Chalamet hugged Sir Elton John inside the Dolby Theatre before turning around to introduce the music legend to her.
For some reason, Kylie decided to hold court front row rather than stand up and greet the 77-year-old EGOT champ, who chivalrously kissed her extended right hand.
‘Oh no no no you get up for Sir Elton John!’ Instagram user @ashleyimholte commented on People’s video of the awkward encounter.
Instagram user @marmealy wrote: ‘Money can’t buy manners or respect.’
‘That is Sir Elton John,’ Instagram user @mscakes2013 commented. ‘You stand when being greeted to him.’

‘Not just because it’s Elton John,’ Instagram user @lizzyyy_e noted.
‘But out of respect and manners, you stand up when you greet someone.’
Jenner had no problem standing up in her revealing black Miu Miu gown to greet both of her 29-year-old bofriend’s A Complete Unknown leading ladies Monica Barbaro and Elle Fanning.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder could also be seen standing up to chit chat with Timothée’s A Complete Unknown co-star Edward Norton and his wife Shauna Robertson.
However, that did not stop Kylie from pᴀssionately locking lips with Chalamet as the married couple of 12 years watched on.
Jenner and the two-time Oscar nominee have yet to go red carpet or Instagram official as a couple, but he proudly walked his mother Nicole Flender down the red carpet on Sunday.
