George Clooney and wife Amal were spotted holding hands when they decided to step out together in New York City Thursday night.
While the two-time Oscar winner took the lead when they made their way out to the bustling streets of Manhattan, the usually beaming star appeared to in a serious mood with a weary look on his face.
His wife of more than 10 years had quite the opposite demeanor, flashing a big happy smile as the couple were seemingly led away with the help of a man who stayed close by them.
In keeping with her glamorous reputation, the world-renowned international human rights lawyer looked stylish in black pants and matching stiletto boots, along with a long gray turtleneck sweater.
The Beirut, Lebanon native, 47, who grew up in the UK since she was two, also sported a gray overcoat, a stylish black purse, and had her dark brown tresses flowing down past the middle of her back and over her left shoulder with a center part.
As for the usually dapper Clooney, 63, he decided to go with a slightly more casual-cool look in dark blue slacks, matching coat with black zipper-sweater underneath, and a pair of lighter blue slip-on shoes.

The duo were again seen soon after making their way around the Big Apple in a hurry with the father of two leading the way, all the while still holding hands with the radiant Amal.

Their night out together comes in the wake of Clooney opening up about some of the struggles the high-profile couple have faced parenting their seven-year-old twins Alexander and Ella.
In the past he humorously expressed concern over their kids becoming ‘too British’ due to their exposure to English slang and culture.
