Zara added: ‘From vagina temples, to Britney karaoke in our van (lol), to eating a cheese toastie at 2am at the full moon party on the floor in a local school, it has been truly amazing.

‘Until next time. I cannot wait for you all to see this series.’

It was revealed that Zara had bagged the brand new BBC documentary series last month after her split from ex-boyfriend Sam Thompson.

The Made In Chelsea star, 32, and the former Love Island contestant were reported to have parted ways after five years together in December.

Just days after Zara moved out of their Chelsea home and the BBC confirmed that she would be heading to Thailand for the upcoming documentary series.

In the new programme, made by South Shore Productions, she will explore the destination which has become a popular tourist spot for young Brits.

The series will kick off in bustling Bangkok before heading to some popular party islands and will feature a lively cast of characters.

Zara’s main aim for the documentary is to discover why thousands of young Brits flock to the exotic location every year.

From backpackers to those who are seeking longer-term roots – the new documentary will unearth the secrets of the vast and varied country.

Speaking to the BBC, Zara revealed that she is excited to explore a new country: ‘I’m excited to discover a country that so many young people like me are heading to right now.’

‘There’s clearly a fascination with the nightlife, parties and stunning beaches – but there seems to be other intriguing reasons people are going to Thailand and staying.’

Meanwhile, Naomi Templeton, Executive Producer said: ‘We’re thrilled to be working with Zara.’

‘She will offer a new perspective on the many reasons thousands of young Brits are drawn to explore Thailand every year.’

Clare Sillery, Head of Commissioning, Documentaries for the BBC added: ‘We’re delighted to work with Zara again on a new series exploring Thailand, a destination which holds a huge appeal for young travellers.’

‘Zara has an eye level connection with the BBC Three audience and the stories that matter to them.’
