Teddi Mellencamp made her first social media post since she underwent surgery earlier this month to get two brain tumors removed.
Amid her cancer battle, the reality TV personality, 43, marked her daughter Dove’s birthday with a sweet tribute shared on Instagram on Tuesday.
‘Happy birthday to my miracle baby,’ she wrote in her caption alongside a montage of pH๏τos with Dove, the youngest child of her and her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave.
‘Hard to believe it’s been five years since you made our lives better and brighter. But no matter how grown you get, you’ll always be My Baby Dovey.’

The collage featured adorable selfies the mother-daughter duo took together over the years as well as several cute snaps of Dove showing off her outfit.
In addition to Dove, Mellencamp and Arroyave are also parents to daughter Slate, 12, and son Cruz, 10.
She is also stepmother to Arroyave’s daughter Bella, 15, from a previous relationship.
Mellencamp often refers to Dove as their ‘miracle baby’ because they conceived her naturally after infertility struggles when getting pregnant with Slate and Cruz.
She married the security CEO in 2011 and announced their separation in November 2024 after 13 years of marriage.
Over the years, Mellencamp has opened up about Dove’s health and revealing that she was diagnosed with lambdoid craniosynotosis and had to undergo neurosurgery.
According to the Mayo Clinic, lambdoid craniosynotosis is a rare condition that affects the way a skull forms after birth.
Nearly a year ago, Mellencamp shared an update on their youngest child’s health and showed off ‘what a fighter she is.’
In a July 2024 Instagram post, she wrote: ‘She is such a boss. So strong. So loving. So funny. So smart. Our entire house is run by boss baby Dove and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We love you Dovey Doo.’
