Chelsea Handler hit the slopes in just a ʙικιɴι to celebrate her 50th birthday.
To mark her milestone birthday and in honor of the release of her new novel, the stand-up comedian slipped into a bright red ʙικιɴι and went skiing with her gal pals.
She took to Instagram to share a fun video of her driving up the mountain in a snow vehicle before skiing with her girl squad.
At the end of the slope, she encountered a man, who was reading her seventh book, I’ll Have What She’s Having, by a bonfire.
She put a joint in her mouth, which he lighted up for her, and then walked away nonchalantly.
Her snow day continued her longstanding birthday tradition of going skiing in a ʙικιɴι alongside her precious pooches and ‘mulтιтasking’ with a drink and sometimes a joint for her celebration.

In her caption, she rang in the special occasion. ‘Today is the day I turn 50! Today is also the day my 7th book, I’ll Have What She’s Having, is out.’
She added: ‘Give it to someone you love who needs a little boost or injection of confidence. If you want the recipe, baby I got it!’
She concluded her note with the hashtag, ‘#MidCenturyJoy,’ and thanked ‘all the chicks that showed up to ski in their [ʙικιɴιs].’
In her new memoir, Handler shared a number of admissions including that Jane Fonda once called her out for behaving ‘badly.’
In an excerpt of her book obtained by Us Weekly, Handler recalled reading a message from the iconic actress.
‘I got an email from Jane Fonda one day that said, “Hi, Chelsea. It’s Jane. I was wondering if you could come over to my house for dinner. I’d like to talk to you about a couple of things.’
Handler wrote that the email seemed ‘ominous’ and explained that she had been longtime friends with Fonda.
Because she had been friends with her already for ‘at least 10 years’ at that point, Handler said it ‘seemed like sort of a terse email to get from her.’

She recalled agreeing and said she opted out of drinking so she could ‘be fully alert for my defense.’
‘Jane’s demeanor seemed a bit cold, and I was anxious to find out exactly what I had done,’ she wrote in her memoir.
She recalled Fonda asking her if she knew why she asked her to come over.
‘”You may have noticed I was a little icy toward you when I saw you at Shonda Rhimes’ fundraiser for Congressman John Lewis,”‘ she recalled Fonda telling her.
‘”You behaved badly at my party,”‘ the actress had told her.
‘”From the moment you came in, you had a black cloud hanging over you and you insulted people and it brought the whole party down.”‘

‘”I don’t know what drugs you were on, but a few people told me you were horrible to them.”‘
Handler said Fonda asked her why she attended the party if she was in ‘that kind of mood’ and said getting called out by her friend was ‘as serious as it gets.’
Handler added: ‘This was definitely not the woman I had dreamed of becoming.’
She recalled the wake-up call from Fonda was ’embarrᴀssing, painful, and definitely cringeworthy,’ but she said she ‘didn’t let any of those things diminish the fact that Jane had taken the time out of her life to be honest with me.’
