Braless Kerry Washington, 48, sparkles in sheer beaded gown for 2025 SAG Awards

Kerry Washington made a show-stopping entrance at the 2025 SAG Awards on Sunday, turning heads with her bold and effortlessly glamorous look.

The actress, last nominated for a SAG Award in 2020 for Little Fires Everywhere, captivated onlookers in a daring Armani Privé rose gold gown, opting to go braless for an added touch of allure.

The stunning dress featured a delicate lace bodice, a flowing satin skirt, and a sheer overlay adorned with intricate crystal and pearl beading—an ensemble that commanded attention as much as Kerry’s confident display.

She completed the jaw-dropping look with her hair styled in classic Old Hollywood waves, carrying a matching clutch to tie it all together.

Washington joined a star-studded lineup at the event, including Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Pamela Anderson, Demi Moore, and Zoë Saldaña.

Over the course of the night, 13 awards will be presented, honoring ‘outstanding performances’ in both film and television—voted on by SAG-AFTRA’s more than 130,000 members.

Kerry’s red carpet appearance comes less than 24 hours after she was was overcome with emotion when she won best actress in a motion picture for Tyler Perry’s Netflix film The Six Triple Eight.

The film brought to life the true story of America’s 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, a World War II military unit composed entirely of Black women.

Kerry triumphed in a fiercely compeтιтive category, besting Cynthia Erivo for Wicked: Part One, Lupita Nyong’o for A Quiet Place: Day One, Regina King for Shirley, and Lashana Lynch for the Bob Marley: One Love biopic.

Stepping up to accept her award, Kerry admitted she was ‘shocked’ to win, given the ‘extraordinary’ talent she was nominated alongside.

Beaming with excitement, she embraced Cynthia on her way to the stage, clearly overwhelmed by the moment.

‘Okay, you guys, you know, on awards shows, when people looked surprised, I never believed that they’re really surprised – except Beyoncé at the Grammys, that was like…,’ Kerry said, dramatically mimicking a stunned expression.

‘But I’m just shocked. I’m shocked because the women that I’m nominated with are so extraordinary, so extraordinary. I love you all so much and I’m honored to be in a category with you,’ the Scandal star continued.

She went on to express heartfelt graтιтude to her fans, family, and the creative team behind the film, including Tyler Perry, Netflix, and her fellow cast members.
