Anjelica Huston revealed her A-list ex-boyfriend reached out to her when she was evacuating during the Los Angeles wildfires.
The 73-year-old actress recalled how her famous ex, Jack Nicholson, 87, ‘called and asked if I was all right and if I had someplace I was staying’ last month.
‘I was in a car with three dogs, two cats and the housekeeper’, she told The Guardian in an article published on Friday.
During that time, she said the Chinatown star — whom she previously dated on and off for 17 years — conveyed his care and concern.
‘That’s the bottom line with him and I,’ she told the outlet. ‘When the chips are down, he’s there.’
Last month, multiple, devastating wildfires broke out in the greater Los Angeles area, burning thousands of acres, displacing residents living in some of the most highly populated neighborhoods and killing over 20 people.

The Prizzi’s Honor star, who previously made a racy confession about Nicholson, was among the tens of thousands under evacuation orders.
‘It’s been kind of a scary month. My house almost burned down,’ she recalled.
‘It came very, very close. My electricity and water and power are still off, but we are safe.’

She recalled how Nicholson reached out to her while she was evacuating all of her pets.
And she explained how grateful she felt for their relationship even after their romance ended.
The pair were previously in a relationship for nearly two decades, and Nicholson even publicly stated that she was the love of his life in the past.
They split for good in 1990 after she learned that he fathered a child outside of their relationship.
She went on to find love again and was married to sculptor Robert Graham from 1992 up until his death in 2008.
Reflecting on staying with Nicholson despite his infidelity back then, Huston told the outlet she has no regrets.
‘I loved him,’ she said. ‘I think in the world that I was living in, it wasn’t disrespectful.’

She continued: ‘It was how he was, and it wasn’t so personal. I think as soon as I clocked that, it was all right, I knew how to protect myself.’
She said that she was sure that she wanted to stay with him and insists she was not a victim even though she wasn’t ‘happy’ that he was unfaithful.
‘It didn’t make me happy, but I knew what I was doing,’ she said.
‘I did what I wanted to do, and I did it with sureness,’ she added.
‘If I wanted something, I knew how to go after it, so it wasn’t as though anything was being done to me. I wasn’t a wilting flower.’
