Just days before his highly-anticipated new series Suits LA debuts on NBC, actor Bryan Greenberg is opening up about losing his home in the LA fires.
The 46-year-old actor and his actress wife of nearly 10 years, Jamie Chung, lost their home in one of the numerous fires that swept through Los Angeles.
The actor, his 41-year-old wife and their three-year-old twin sons were able to evacuate safely before the blaze consumed their home.
He revealed in a new interview with People what he decided to grab before evacuating his family, and they were items you couldn’t replace.
‘It was weird during the fires because you have to grab something, and you’re like, “What do I get?” I just grabbed all these pH๏τo albums,’ he admitted.
‘So that was a little nostalgic. That’s the only thing that, in your time of crisis, it’s like, what are you going to take? I was like, “These are things I won’t get back,”‘ he added.

Back in early January, Chung took to her Instagram story to share footage from her ravaged neighborhood.
‘Damn. Our entire neighborhood is gone. We are grateful to our brave firefighters and first responders and pray we don’t lose any more lives to these catastrophic fires. Stay safe and stay vigilant,’ she said.

Greenberg added shortly after, ‘Family is safe and that’s all that matters. Everything else is just stuff. Thanks for checking in. Stay safe out there!’
He added on his Instagram story a day later, ‘It was all a dream. Thankfully the family is safe. Thank you to all of the firefighters risking their lives. Stay safe out there.’
Greenberg reposted his friend Nichelle Hines’ Instastory of him and Jamie distracting their three-year-old twin sons before the terrifying evacuation.
The married couple of nine years have reportedly shared the woodsy house in the hills as far back as 2013, but it’s unclear when Bryan originally bought his bachelor pad.
‘Well, what I love about Bryan is he understands the business, but also, we’re there to support each other. It’s not a compeтιтion. We love each other so much and it’s just awesome. I love being married to him,’ Chung gushed to Us Weekly on December 15.
‘Honestly, you’re not married to the same person. We grow every day. We are different people every day and I think the most important thing is to fill each other’s emotional cup, try listening to each other and show empathy and try to [be] understanding.’
