Catherine Tate is known to millions for her hilarious comedy talents, having travelled the universe as The Doctor’s companion and fronted her own sketch show.
But it seems the beloved star has pᴀssed on her performing skills to her daughter Erin, 22, with the budding social media star showing off her own performing skills in a string of TikTok clips.
Erin, 22, went viral this week when a video emerged that showed her casually revealing Catherine was her mother while at the races.
In the clip, posted by INVADES, Erin was asked to reveal the most famous name in her phone contacts, as she casually shared that it was her mother Catherine, before calling her on FaceTime.
But while Erin has certainly inherited her mother’s looks, and her performing traits, she has also been carving out a career for herself in the art world.

The pair split in 2011 and Catherine was then briefly linked to Take That star Jason Orange before starting a relationship with broadcaster Adrian Chiles, which reportedly ended in December 2013.
It was then revealed in 2019 that she was engaged to American screenwriter and divorced father-of-three Jeff Ghutheim.
Catherine relocated to the US when she landed a role in mockumentary The Office, and she’s currently starring in Fox’s sitcom Going Dutch, which premiered last month.
She rose to fame thanks to her acclaimed comedy sketch series The Catherine Tate Show, which received seven BAFTA nominations.
She also starred as comedian Donna Noble opposite David Tennant in Doctor Who, reprising her role for the show’s 60th Anniversary in 2023.
Despite her comedy plaudits, Catherine previously shared that Erin was less impressed with one of her racier roles.
In 2016 she said, Erin, who was 12 at the time, was ‘very upset’ when she saw her posing naked and wrapped in a bed sheet in a poster for her new comedy, Do Not Disturb.
She also admitted that Erin hated it when she does the suggestive ‘twerking’ dance move at home.
She said of her new show: ‘It is a very adult comedy. When my daughter saw the poster she got very upset.
‘She is 12. It is that age when they are so prudish. If it were a seven-year-old or an 18-year-old it would be fine.

‘It is the same reaction as when I twerk. If you are seven or 18 they would be like “Oh that is so funny”. I do it because it is so gross.’
Appearing on ITV’s The Jonathan Ross Show she then twerked after encouragement from the audience.
She added: ‘When I do this [twerking] to my daughter as a joke she gets really upset. So when she saw the poster for my new show she got really upset.
‘It is fairly demure as I am wrapped up in a sheet. Now I feel bad as when I do it at home my daughter cries.’
