Jennifer Garner was spotted out in Los Angeles on Wednesday when she caught up with a friend for a lunch date.

The 52-year-old’s outing comes after an insider told DailyMail.com that her friends have urged her to ‘relax’ and lessen her obligations after she weighed herself down with work, personal obligations and grueling volunteer work to help those affected by the LA Fires.

They also revealed that Jennifer’s ex-husband, Ben Affleck, also 52, was willing to ‘drop everything’ if needed to support her.

Jennifer seemed to be taking her friends to heart by catching up with a pal over lunch.

She looked cozy in a thick gray sweater that she paired with a set of relaxed-fit jeans.

The ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool & Wolverine actress added a casual-cool touch with a pair of black leather loafers with decorative gold laces.

She wore her shoulder-length brunette hair parted down the middle and styled straight, framing her chunky black sunglᴀsses with white arms.

Jennifer accessorized her look with a large patchwork brown suede handbag.

One of the many obligations Jennifer allegedly weighed herself down with in recent months was her work as an unofficial mediator for her ex Ben and his soon-to-be ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, an insider claimed.

She has also allegedly been juggling her duties as a mom with her volunteering after LA’s devastating fires and filming the second season of her AppleTV+ thriller The Last Thing He Told Me, so her friends are urging herto pare down her schedule and to focus on her own wellbeing.

‘Jen has been dedicating every waking hour to helping her friends who have lost everything in the fires,’ a source told DailyMail.com. ‘She is helping her church, and she has been going non-stop.

‘She needs to take some time to relax but that is not how Jen is — not when she is pᴀssionate about something.’

They continued: ‘The fires took a big toll on her and she lost a friend. She has been out there every day volunteering her time.’

Garner volunteered with chef Jose Andres and his World Central Kitchen to provide food for evacuees at various pop-up locations after the destructive inferno first broke out last month.

‘To Ben, Jen is superwoman,’ the insider said. ‘She has saved him many times and there is nothing in the world he would not do for her’; he’s pictured in May in LA

In an interview with MSNBC, the broken-hearted star revealed a friend of hers from the United Methodist Church, which she attends, had perished in the blaze.

‘I did lose a friend, and for our church it’s really tender so I don’t feel like we should talk about it yet,’ the ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool & Wolverine actress said. ‘She didn’t get out in time.’

Affleck rushed to his ex-wife and their children when the Pacific Palisades fire first broke out after he was forced to evacuate from his $20 million mansion. Fires ravaged the popular celebrity enclave and reduced thousands of properties to ash.

‘The fires came on the heels of Ben’s split from JLo which wore her out, [as she was] playing mediator,’ the insider continued. 

‘Not having that whole mess to deal with has been a weight lifted. On top of this, she is also raising children and is an incredibly hands-on parent.’

Affleck and Garner were married for 13 years until their divorce in 2018. The couple are parents to Violet, 19; Fin, 16; and Samuel, 12.

He was heavily supported by his ex-wife as he navigated his shock split from Lopez, 55, last year.

DailyMail.com previously reported how, at times, Garner felt like she was being used as a ‘pawn’ during the breakdown of their marriage.

In the months before Lopez officially filed for divorce from the Argo star, Garner had adopted the role of ‘marriage counselor’ to the struggling couple, with some friends fearing she had been forced to ‘play mediator.’

Affleck is reportedly fully aware of how many times his ex-wife has had to step in to save him.

‘To Ben, Jen is superwoman,’ the insider said. ‘She has saved him many times and there is nothing in the world he would not do for her.

‘He is not super concerned for her right now. But if that changes he would drop everything to make sure she is OK.’

Garner, who is currently dating businessman John Miller, 46, has reportedly chosen to distance herself from Lopez and is keeping any interactions focused solely on the children within their extended family.

‘Jen no longer wishes to have communication with JLo unless it is do with the kids,’ a separate source revealed to DailyMail.com in November.

‘Her friends feel she shouldn’t have allowed herself to get so involved in helping JLo to fix her marriage to Ben.’

Lopez is mother to 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, from her marriage to singer Marc Anthony, 56, which lasted from 2004 to 2014.

Her divorce from Affleck will be finalized on February 20.

The estranged couple settled the divorce through mediation with lawyer to the stars Laura Wᴀsser. 

Each party will walk away with what they individually acquired during their marriage.

Documents also show Lopez has chosen to drop Affleck as her last name.
