Lady Gaga became extremely nervous as she answered questions about her life and career while hooked up to a lie detector.
The 38-year-old pop star became the latest in a long list of celebrities to give an interview during a polygraph test for Vanity Fair.
She was visibly anxious as she attempted to diplomatically tiptoe her way around such subjects as her brief stint on The Hills.
However her jittery disposition took on an air of gleeful mischief once she was asked about the potential for an A-list reunion.
Over a decade ago, Gaga sang a smash hit duet with another globally famous pop star, and the music video closed with the phrase: ‘To be continued….’
Now, Gaga has finally been asked whether the follow-up will ever arrive, and her answer was sure to send fans into a whirl of excitement.

The song in question was Gaga’s 2009 single Telephone, which featured her alongside Beyoncé while both women were at the peak of their fame.
Telephone had a rollicking music video inspired by Quentin Tarantino movies, in which Gaga and Beyoncé team up for a wild murder spree.

During her lie detector test, Gaga was reminded of the: ‘To be continued…’ tag at the end of the video and asked: ‘Will it ever be continued?’
‘Yes,’ she replied slowly, but when she was asked: ‘When?’ she hesitated before offering the cagey response: ‘I don’t know.’
At that point the Alejandro singer was asked: ‘Will this person be in it?’ and presented with a glamour sH๏τ of Beyoncé onstage.
‘Maybe,’ said Gaga with a slightly tense smile, relaxing when the woman operating the polygraph confirmed that she was ‘being truthful.’
‘Is it taking forever because of scheduling conflicts with Beyoncé?’ the questioner asked, to which Gaga confidently responded: ‘No.’
However her nervousness returned when she was asked about her guest sH๏τ on The Hills, with the reality show’s stars Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port.
One question was about a potential follow-up to Gaga’s 2009 single Telephone, which featured her alongside Beyoncé, whom she is pictured with in the Tarantino-inspired music video

Over the course of her candid interview, she was also asked about her guest sH๏τ on The Hills, with the reality show’s stars Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port
On an episode taped in 2008 – right as Gaga became a star with her debut single Just Dance – she was styled by Lauren and Whitney for a fashion event.
During her polygraph test, Gaga was presented with a pH๏τo of Whitney and Lauren and asked to identify them, which she struggled to do.
Having already gotten off to a rocky start, Gaga was then asked if Whitney and Lauren did ‘a good job’ providing ‘PR’ for her ahead of the event.
‘Um…yes,’ Gaga said with a distinct note of uncertainty in her voice, and then the polygraph test came back ‘inconclusive,’ causing her to lapse into giggles.
The Bad Romance songstress is currently promoting her eighth studio album Mayhem, which is scheduled for release March 7.
She has already dropped two hit singles from the record, first Disease this past October and then Abracadabra at the start of this month.
