Fans have sparked concern for Billie Eilish after she announced she is sick during her show in Brisbane on Tuesday night.

The US pop star, 23, kicked off the Australian leg of her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

After performing a live recording of When the Party’s Over, Billie told fans she has sinusitis – a swelling of the sinuses.

‘I was sick for literally four months straight,’ she admitted.

‘I have sinusitis… I got sick again three days before this tour.

‘My voice sounds horrible, and I’m embarrᴀssed. I’ve been feeling insecure. I’m sorry if I sound like sh*t.’

Following her admission, fans flocked to social media to express their concern.

‘Billie said she had a cold for 4 months straight and then got sick on Christmas day and then she got sick literally 3 days before Australian tour started OH SOMEONE PLEASE FREE BILLIE FROM HER SINUSES,’ one wrote.

‘Is this bi**h gonna die or something? Four months sick is insane and now she’s sick again,’ another said.

‘Why is she always sick?’ a third person questioned.

‘I feel so sorry for her. I know this feeling… I pray for her that she will get over it,’ one commented.

It comes after Billie looked completely unrecognisable as she strolled through Melbourne airport on Monday sporting a face mask.

She wore a grey jacket over a blue hoodie, mask, sunglᴀsses and baseball cap to conceal her idenтιтy.

In November last year, Billie admitted she was sick while performing at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City.

She apologised to her fans for ‘maybe sounding raspy tonight’.

In September 2023, the singer suffered a similar experience ahead of her Ireland performance. 

‘Ireland. I am really, really sick and honestly, really suffering,’ she wrote on social media at the time.

‘You know me and you know that I wouldn’t cancel a show if I was like literally dying… (this does feel pretty close tho lol) but the show must go on.’

Billie has also previously discussed her battle with hypermobility and revealed she has been in ‘pain since I was nine’.

‘Growing up, I’d always hear people be like, “Just wait until you’re older! You’re going to have so much pain!” And I remember being so furious,’ she told People.

The Los Angeles-born singer will be performing 12 sold-out Australian shows across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne as part of her Hit Me Hard and Soft world tour.

Her first concert was on Tuesday night at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre and she will finish up on Saturday, March 8 at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena.

It is the first time Billie has performed in Australia since 2022. 

The What Was I Made For? artist will perform at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on February 19, 21 and 22. 

She will then travel to Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena for four nights on February 24, 25, 27 and 28.

The singer will perform four more concerts at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena in early March.
