Pregnant Michelle Keegan enjoyed a lavish ‘girls only’ day at Smith’s Bar&Grill in London on Monday ahead of welcoming her first child. 

The actress, 37, revealed in December she’s pregnant with her first child with former TOWIE star husband Mark Wright, 38.

During the celebrations, Mark’s mum Carol and his sisters Jess and Natalya organised the luxury candle lit dinner for Michelle, which looked like a baby shower. 

Natalya shared a series of snaps of the stunning day on Instagram including one of her cradling the former Coronation Street stars baby bump. 

Michelle was seen wearing a stylish fitted brown long sleeved outfit as she showed off her growing bump.  

Natalya wrote: ‘Aunties loading for the 4th time…’

The restaurant featured a long dinner table scattered with bow candles and white roses. There was also a small gift table in the corner of the room. 

Natalya added: ‘We organised the perfect ‘girls only’ day before a baby Wright arrives… @michellekeegan’. 

It comes after Michelle revealed she’s looking forward to finally spending a summer at home after years of working abroad.

And in an interview with Grazia, Michelle opened up on her husband’s support of her long-distance working, while also revealing plans to take a ‘chunk of time’ from her work commitments to focus on motherhood.

Since marrying in 2015, the couple have had periods apart due to filming projects, with Mark spending time over a year in LA as the host of celebrity show Extra.

While Michelle has previously worked on projects in South Africa, Malaysia and Australia for shows including Ten Pound Poms and Our Girl.

She told the publication: ‘I’m going to take a good chunk of time off to enjoy being a mum. I’m never normally at home in the summer, I’ve always been away working, so I can’t wait.’

The stunner also revealed her husband is extremely supportive amid her stints of working away, with neither of them letting it come between them.

She added: ‘We never make each other feel bad about being away for work… we never let it affect our relationship.’

Michelle has been wrapping work on the seventh series of Brᴀssic before heading on maternity leave.

It comes as Michelle was surprised by her closest friends with what looked to be a baby shower earlier this month.

The actress took to her Instagram Stories to share a glimpse of the intimate brunch thrown by her Northern pals at the Barnshaw Smithy restaurant in Mobberley, Cheshire.

She showed a snap of a rustic wooden table laden with white tapered candles and elegant glᴀss vases, with an individual iced cookie and what appeared to be a little gift box tied with twine at each place setting.

Another hint in the elegant décor suggesting the get-together was to celebrate Michelle’s impending motherhood was the inclusion of many bunches of Baby’s-breath flowers – said to be so named because of they are a popular baby-shower gift.

Michelle captioned the snaps of the sweet gathering: ‘Cuuuuutest surprise brunch with my northern lot.’

She later revealed it had been her best friend Katie Fearnehough who had organised her special day, with the help of an event-planning company.

Voicing her graтιтude, the Brᴀssic star gushed: ‘How gorgeous?! You are the best @katiefearnehoughx @peonyeventsplanning’.
