Netflix fans thrilled as ‘comical masterpiece’ British series starring Harry Potter legend is finally free to stream – hailing it as ‘the funniest show they’ve seen in years’

A British series that stars a Harry Potter legend and has previously been hailed as ‘the funniest show I’ve seen in years’ is now available to stream on Netflix.

Sick Note was added to the streaming platform earlier this month after originally airing on Sky One when it was first released back in 2017.

It stars Rupert Grint, 36, who previously played Ron Weasley in the iconic wizard film series, as insurance agent Daniel Glᴀss, as well as comedian and actor Nick Frost, who plays doctor Iain Glennis.

The comedy follows Daniel as he tackles a relationship breakdown and terminal cancer diagnosis, which turns out to be wrong.

Daniel decides not to let people know about the misdiagnosis and falls into an ‘absurd web of fraud, blackmail, suspicion and misadventure,’ according to the synopsis.

Sick Note received raving reviews from fans and was even called a ‘comical masterpiece.’

It quickly received thousands of likes and hundreds of positive comments.

The show has proved to be popular on Netflix so far and within 24 hours was the fourth most-watched show on the streamer.
