Chrissy Teigen and John Legend paid special tribute to their late beloved dog Penny in a Valentine’s Day clip.

The longtime couple — who attended the Grammys this month — performed a duet of the 1960s Nat King Cole song L-O-V-E in various scenes while serenading all of their beloved animals in an Instagram video.

During one touching moment, John held the urn with Penny’s ashes, as the couple sang while looking at it. In another moment, Chrissy leaned down to give the urn a kiss.

It was a heartfelt tribute to Penny, who died in her sleep in January.

While John, 46, wore the same salmon-colored monochrome look in each portion of the snippet, Chrissy 39, had fun switching up her looks.

She modeled red bunny ears, a matching satin bra, plus gloves during one part.

And the mother-of-four also donned a pink cowboy hat with a sparkly magenta co-ord as they sat on a couch in their home.

Teigen kept the lighthearted spirit going as she later changed into pink bunny ears and a feathered costume.

Additionally, she slipped into a pink hooded robe with feather trim while performing for their gecko.

For her final look in the recording, she showed off a red velvet mini dress with long-sleeves and an over-the-top feathered hat.

Sharing the post with their combined 57 million fans, the cookbook author acknowledged that their strung-together video clips contained them singing in different keys.

She wrote in the caption, ‘ok I get John’s key change frustration now hahaha happy Valentine’s Day, lovers!!!!’

Bloopers at the end of the montage showed the All Of Me hitmaker expressing concern about the mismatched notes.

And he wrote in the comments section of the post that the finished product was ‘so painful’ to hear.

The former The Voice coach lamented, ‘I needed my pitch pipe from my a cappella days.’

Penny pᴀssed away suddenly at the age of 11.

In January, the model shared the devastating news by posting an emotional tribute and several adorable pH๏τos of her dog that captured her playful personality.

‘Our beautiful little tripod queen, penny, pᴀssed on peacefully in her sleep today,’ she captioned her slideshow. ‘Born the same day John and I got married, 11 years ago, she was there for us for every baby, every loss, every joy.’

She continued: ‘She loved nothing more than being loved, having her nub rubbed and destroying any ball she could get her paw on, even til her last weeks.’

The cookbook author went on to gently remind her followers that to ‘never forget that while every pup is just a few chapters in your long life, for them you are their entire book, their entire lives.’

‘Oh Penny. We were so beyond lucky to have you. Say hi to Puddy and Pippa for us. You are all together again,’ she concluded.

In the first image, she can be seen smiling while sitting on the floor next to Penny, who was perched above her on the couch.

The next picture showed Penny holding a tennis ball in his mouth and another of her with her and Legend’s son Miles, six.

She also included a selfie of her next to Legend as Penny snuggled up between them.

Under Teigen’s post, Legend commented: ‘I loved this girl. We will miss you, Penny.’

The longtime lovebirds, who renewed their wedding vows for their tenth wedding anniversary in September 2023, have a full house with four children and multiple pets.

At least three dogs appeared in their Valentine’s Day post, as well as a tiny yellow gecko.

They are parents to daughters Luna, eight, Esti, two, and sons Miles, six, and Wren, 20 months.

In 2020, Chrissy heartbreakingly suffered a pregnancy loss, with a son they called Jack, at 20 weeks.
