The pretty dress also featured a peephole design and a perfectly draped over the star’s figure.

The Australian actress, who plays Gwen Johansen in the film, kept her jewellery to a minimum, opting for simple diamond earrings and a gold bracelet.

Elsewhere, leading man Robert ensured all eyes were on him as he opted for an edgy leather look for the evening.

The actor, 38, donned a black leather jacket which he teamed with baggy black trousers and chunky black boots.

Robert commanded attention as he posed up a storm on the red carpet.

In Mickey 17, Robert stars as an ‘expendable’ member of a space mission, who gets chosen for dangerous tasks as he can be renewed, even if he dies, with his memories intact.

The film is directed by the acclaimed South Korean director Bong Joon-Ho.

The new movie also stars the likes of Mark Ruffalo, Anamaria Vartolome and Steven Yeun, who all attended the premiere.

The film is based on the 2022 novel Mickey 7 by Edward Ashton, with director Bong explaining one key difference between the book and the novel at the panel.

‘It’s based on the novel Mickey 7, but we made it Mickey 17. The number is the number of times he dies,’ the filmmaker previously explained.

‘I kill him 10 times more. It’s a story of a simple man. It’s a sci-fi movie. It’s hard to say sci-fi — it’s a human story,’ Bong said.

Bong is known for a string of now-classic Korean films, including the serial killer–thriller Memories Of murder, the monster movie The Host, and the suspense thriller Mother.

He made his English-language debut with 2013’s Snowpiercer, and he followed it up with the multilingual Okja in 2017, before scoring his biggest success to date with 2019’s Parasite.

The darkly comic thriller was a hit with critics and audiences alike, and it earned the Cannes Film Festival’s top honor, the Palme d’Or, before becoming the first non-English-language film to win the Oscar for Best Picture at the 92nd Academy Awards.

Parasite also scored Oscars for Best Director and Best Screenplay, along with Best International Feature.

The filmmaker appears to be leaning in to the dark comedy in Mickey 17, as the trailer focuses on Pattinson’s character’s numerous grisly deaths, most of which are played for laughs.
