A 90s sitcom icon has taken his Instagram followers for a hilarious tour of his garden where he struggled to contain his laughter.

Addressing the camera throughout, the comedian showed fans an array of different items in his back yard and made innenduos comparing them to various body parts.

The actor is best known for his role in a classic Scottish comedy, where he plays an alcoholic Glaswegian who chooses unemployment as a way to get the most fun out of life.

Hailing from Menstrie, near Stirling, the star attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow and earned his first job working on hit Scottish sketch show Scotch and Wry.

A few years later, he got his big break in the famous sitcom in 1988 and the show went on for 11 years, attracting large audiences of up to five million.

The star even showed up in classic rom-com Love Actually where he played the manager of declining music icon Billy Mack, portrayed by Billy Nighy.

But can you guess who this 90s legend is?

It is none other than Gregor Fisher, who played the тιтle character in hilarious series Rab C. Nesbitt.

More than two decades after the show’s main run ended in 1999 – it returned for another stint between 2010 and 2014 – the Scottish icon gave his fans more laughs with an amusing tour of his garden on social media.

He said: ‘Come with me for a short walk around my garden – I’ll show you things you’ve never seen before.

‘These are my nuts – do you see them there? – they’re quite small nuts if you’ll pardon the expression,’ he added as he began bursting into laughter.

‘That’s them there and…what else can I show you? Over here, these little beauties are my fat balls…’

At this point he completely lost it and struggled to deliver his final sentence: ‘They’ve got bits hanging off them…so I’ve got quite a lot of fat balls.’

Rab C. Nesbitt attracted around two million viewers every episode during an impressive run spanning 67 shows.

It scooped a string of prestigious honours, including Best Sitcom at the Royal Television Awards and Best Entertainment Programme twice at the Scottish BAFTAs.

After the show's main run ended in 1999, it returned for another stint between 2010 and 2014

Ahead of the iconic show, Gregor put in an ᴀssured performance as a Victorian policeman in the movie Without A Clue, where he starred opposite Michael Caine.

It all earned him an opportunity to impress in Christmas Classic Love Actually where he provided the audience with laughs while managing Bill’s key character.

He still appears on TV, recently playing Ken in BBC sitcom Only Child and even showing up as a guest on C4’s Sunday Brunch in the run up to Christmas.

Gregor married wife Vicki Burton, who is an actress, in 1990 and the pair are believed to live in France.
