Emmerdale has confirmed Tom King’s fate after his twisted court battle – and fans will love Belle Dingle’s revenge.
The veterinarian (James Chase) is currently doing time in prison after he vile treatment towards wife Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper).
Tom was sent to jail and served a three-year sentence for being found guilty of domestic abuse and coercive control towards the wedding planner.
Wednesday’s instalment of the ITV soap saw Belle sharing her worries about trying to get the divorce underway with Lydia Dingle.
Lydia explained that someone else could sort it out for her and thought that it was best to stay away from him.
However Belle was keen to go and face her demons – and that is what she did.

Tom told her: ‘I cant believe you came. I don’t deserve it. I know that. But it’s all I’ve been thinking about since Christmas and now you’re here.
‘Whatever happens now, it doesn’t matter. I’m just happy to be in the same room as you.’
Belle replied: ‘The time felt right.’
Two other people in the visiting room got into an argument and Belle pointed out that must happen a lot.
But Tom said he wouldn’t know because it’s the first time he’s been allowed in the room.
He continued: ‘But I brought it on myself, I know, you don’t have to say it.’
Belle fumed: ‘Don’t tell me what I’m going to say.’
Later on in the conversation he tried to convince her that he had changed, but she wasn’t having any of it.

Tom said that they could achieve anything together, but she pointed out: ‘We can achieve a divorce’.
But he said: ‘I will fight you for everything.’
But Belle stood her ground.
Belle told him: ‘You have been gone for a very long time and this divorce.
‘It’s the cherry on top. And I am having it.’
Those watching at home were over the moon with how Belle handled the situation, and that she can finally move on.
One said on X, formerly known as Twitter: ‘I am so happy to see Belle tell Tom about himself. He really thinks he has a say, behind bars.’
Another added: ‘Tom’s so disgusting #emmerdale glad Belle has stood up to him.’
‘Yes belle !!!,’ a third chimed in.
A fourth tweeted: ‘Loved this moment for Belle tonight how the tables have turned, brilliant!’
A fifth added: ‘Well done Belle onwards and upwards.’
