Lainey Wilson revealed her partner Devlin ‘Duck’ Hodges has proposed to her and they are now engaged.
On Wednesday, the country singer, 32, made the exciting announcement on Instagram and showed off the gorgeous pH๏τos from the moment her now-fiancé popped the question.
Alongside pH๏τos of the newly betrothed couple posing on the porch, she also shared pH๏τos and a short clip of herself showing off the mᴀssive sparkler now adorning her ring finger.
In her caption, she referenced her love song 4x4xU — which she posted in a fun Instagram video of herself riding sH๏τgun alongside Hodges in the same four-wheel drive golf cart she sings about in the song back in October 2024.
Alongside a red heart emoji, the Grammy winner — who, just last month, joked about being tired of ‘waiting’ for him to propose and said she might have to pop the question herself soon — wrote in her caption: ‘4x4xU forever.’
In addition to a pH๏τo of the pair staring deeply into each other’s eyes, she also included a pH๏τo of her holding her hands up to her face and the 28-year-old football player’s big smile during the special moment.

In the sweet snapsH๏τ, a romantic display was set up outside of the front door.
On the steps of the threshold, framed pH๏τos of them together were placed next to red roses and white candles.

Wilson also shared a black-and-white pH๏τo of them kissing after she accepted his proposal.
There was also a cute snapsH๏τ of the singer flashing her ring in addition to a big smile while her now-fiancé held up an aptly chosen, cowboy hat-shaped ring box.
And in a video at the end of her slideshow, she walked down the steps of the mansion and pretended her left arm was being weighed down by the large, stunning rock now situated on her ring finger.
The couple’s engagement comes just over a month after Wilson said she is tired of ‘waiting’ for her boyfriend to propose as she admitted she may have to pop the question herself.
At the beginning of the year, she shared insight on her relationship with her partner of nearly four years during a CMT interview with Jelly Roll’s wife Bunnie Xo.
‘No pressure, brother! No pressure,’ she said while expressing impatience. ‘I might have to propose to him. We waiting!’

Then, Bunnie Xo reᴀssured her and said: ‘No, Duck’s gonna do it. I could feel it.’ Wilson then cheerfully responded, ‘I like that.’
In the comments section of a clip of their chat, Bunnie wrote: ‘I’m calling now! Duck & Lainey.’
When asked about future wedding bells last year, she also expressed the same sentiment and said she was waiting for him to propose.
‘I guess I’m going to propose cause his a** ain’t proposed to me,’ she told Taste of Country in September 2024.

Then, she explained that they were still enjoying non-marital bliss and they weren’t quite ready yet to tie the knot.
‘I think it needs to be during a season of our life where we really have the time to enjoy it,’ she said. ‘Right now, it would be like, “Oh shoot, I’m engaged. All right, on to the next thing.” And I just want to, like, be able to really soak it in.’
