Kate Winslet and Naomi Campbell join a host of stars in Burberry’s Summer 2025 campaign, It’s Always Burberry Weather: London in Love.
The Oscar-winning actress, 49, and legendary supermodel, 54, lent their star power to the British heritage brand’s new adverts, which have been inspired by late Nineties and early Noughties rom-coms.
Across a series of seven short films, actors Aimee Lou Wood, Chen Kun, Jodie Turner-Smith, Micheal Ward, Nicholas Hoult, Richard E. Grant, Son Sukku and models David Gandy and Liu Wen star in urban fairytales of love, life and the rain.
In one video, Kate dons Burberry’s trademark trench coat as she walks down a street lined with pastel town houses, similar to the ones in Notting Hill and Love Actually.
Paying homage to her legendary Christmas film, The Holiday, she is heard speaking on the phone to her partner, and contemplating a house swap holiday.
However, she’s loathe to leave London, admitting ‘I’d miss the rain,’ just as she opens her Burberry check umbrella to shelter from an unexpected downpour.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell, 54, also lent her star power to the British heritage brand’s new adverts, which have been inspired by late Nineties and early Noughties rom-coms.

Kate also features in a voiceover in another short, proclaiming that ‘Life isn’t just about sunny days,’ and ‘True love only happens in the rain.’
In Naomi’s film she is seen sheltering from the rain by slipping into the back of a black cab – driven by Richard E. Grant – where she is joined by a literal knight in shining armour.
Richard also appears in another film, using a Burberry check umbrella to shield his little dog Thomas, named after the company’s founder.
As he enjoys quality time with his pet pooch, Aimee and Micheal are seen enjoying a picnic, leaning in for a kiss before the rain interrupts their romantic moment.
Another clip, featuring Jodie and Nicholas, sees the pair starring as lovers who run across a bridge in the rain to embrace each other.
A sadder film stars model David, who throws his blue bouquet of roses away after being stood up on a date.
Daniel Lee, Burberry’s chief creative officer, described the films as being about ‘humour, optimism and, of course, the unpredictability of our great British weather’.
Josh Schulman, Burberry’s chief executive officer, added: ‘Our Summer 2025 campaign is a joyous celebration of our original purpose – to create clothing that protects people from the weather.
‘It showcases the innovation and craftsmanship that defines Burberry as the ultimate trench and rainwear destination.’

Kate’s cheeky nod to The Holiday comes after her co-star Jude Law recently teased a sequel.
The English actor, 51, played widower Graham, who falls in love with Amanda (Cameron Diaz) in the movie, which also starred Kate and Jack Black.
In December, Jude reunited with the director Nancy Meyers as she took him out to lunch to celebrate him being awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Filming the actor at the table, Nancy shared: ‘Look who I’m having lunch with today -Jude Law! Congratulations on your so well deserved star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, that’s amazing.
‘I don’t think I’ve seen you since we wrapped The Holiday speaking of which, I’ve seen you interviewed a lot and they keep asking you if there’s going to be a sequel – what do you think?’
Letting out a loud sigh, Jude huffed and exclaimed: ‘give me a second’, before turning and placing his serviette and glᴀsses on his head in the style of the film’s Mr Napkin Head.
As Jude sat beneath the napkin, Nancy asked: ‘is that a yes Jude?’ while he shook his head around.
After Nancy shared the video on social media, fans went wild, claiming the pair had ‘broken the internet’ with the skit.

Jude previously revealed he’d be willing to reprise his role, announcing at New York City’s Tribeca Festival in June: ‘I love the idea.’
The original movie told the tale of Surrey-based journalist Iris (Kate) who swaps homes with Amanda (Cameron), a movie producer from Hollywood, following respective heartbreaks.
While in Surrey, Amanda finds romance with Iris’s book editor brother, widower Graham while Iris meets Miles (played by Jack) and dates him.
Graham is father to children Olivia and Sophie, played by Miffy Englefield and Emma Pritchard, as the girls also fall in love with Amanda as they accept her into their family.
Despite his on screen daughters being grown up now, Jude believes the plot could still be revisited as he added that he doesn’t believe his character will have changed much.
‘I think Graham still has cardigans and glᴀsses, and reads,’ he joked. ‘He’s probably worried sick about the girls, right? The daughters will be 28, 29.’
