Brad Pitt made the rare move of showing off his bare chest for a shirt-free pH๏τo to promote his new Grand Prix film called F1.

The 61-year-old star was also revealing just how many tattoos he has, and it appears to be dozens.

There was writing all over his chest and arms as he wore off white slacks while reclined on a yellow sofa.

The tattoos are his real marks and not fake for his movie character. 

Brad started getting tattoos during his romance with Angelina Jolie, who is known for her several inkings like Know Your Rights and a cross. And some of his Cambodian etchings look similar to what the Maria actress has. 

There are also several marks for Angelina, like her birthday on his lower torso and the letter A for her first name. 

In the past, the Oscar-winning star has hinted at his markings by showing a tat on an arm or leg. But this new pH๏τo gives a clearer picture of just what a major tattoo aficionado he is.

Pitt’s new film F1 is set to come out in movie theaters on June 27, 2025.

The movie was filmed at various F1 races around the globe for the past few years and also stars Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo. 

Pitt’s tats have different meanings that reflect his interests.

On his left forearm, he has a French phrase that translates to ‘life is absurd.’

And he has a sketch of world’s oldest mummy, Ötzi the Iceman. Under that sketch, he has the word ‘Invictus’ (meaning ‘unconquerable’ in Latin) inked in bold capital letters.

A long, thin vertical line is tattooed up Pitt’s right arm, intersecting with a horizontal line just below his wrist to form a cross. 

The letter ‘A,’ for Angelina, is inked on the left side of the cross.

And on the right, he has the initials of all six of their children: ‘M’ for Maddox, ‘P’ for Pax, ‘Z’ for Zahara, ‘S’ for Shiloh, ‘K’ for Knox and ‘V’ for Vivienne.

F1 has been in the works for years as Brad has been seen in Sin City, Abu Dhabi and Texas to meet drivers and film scenes.

In November, Brad fainted on the track in Las Vegas during shooting as it was part of the scene.

Pitt, the star of movies such as Fight Club and Bullet Train, was seen collapsing to the ground as he fainted on the grid. 

Fainting was just a stunt for his upcoming Formula One-based film. 

The actor and producer was dressed in full driving fear and was captured walking unsteadily from the scene of a race crash. 

Pitt, who will play the role of Sonny Hayes, wobbled on his feet several times before crashing down on to a padded mat held by a crew member. 

APX GP, the fictional race team of Pitt’s character Hayes, even released a mock statement, sparking interest in the upcoming release.

He and Damson Idris, who plays his teammate Joshua Pearce, ‘compete against the тιтans of the sport. 

The anticipated feature is directed by Joseph Kosinski, who also helmed Top Gun: Maverick starring Tom Cruise – and is set to premiere in theaters in June 2025. 

In October, Brad was also spotted at the Mexican Grand Prix in Mexico City to film additional scenes. 

Along with taking a lead role in the movie, Brad is also one of the producers on the project, as well as Formula One star Lewis Hamilton.  The film was made in collaboration with Formula 1 and the F1 community. All 10 F1 teams and their drivers, the FIA and race promoters contributed to the authenticity of the story.

The F1 package was acquired by Apple for $130 million-$140 million – a price that doesn’t include the salaries of the principal actors, director, writer and producers, ᴅᴇᴀᴅline reported.

The trailer, which was released in July, opened with Pitt rattling off the names of the companies behind the F1 teams and telling Condon he needs a car that can go faster than that.

Pitt was seen in his race car speeding around the track as Queen’s We Will Rock You plays in the background. As he hit a high speed, it cut to a тιтle card.
