Alesha Dixon has revealed she will not give her two daughters smartphones despite having millions of followers on Instagram and her job revolving around social media.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 46, has said she is going to be ‘strong’ at saying no to her children Azura, 11, and Anaya, five, when they ask for a phone.
Alesha said she believes if there is no real reason for her daughters to have a mobile then she doesn’t want them to have one.
The former Mis-Teeq bandmember told Women’s Health: ‘As long as we can avoid our daughters having phones, we’re going try our hardest. [Azura, 11] can be begging me for a mobile phone and I feel no way to be like ‘nope’ because I’ve got one.
‘[But] you’ve got to be strong with it. My thing is this: if she doesn’t need a phone then why is she having one?
‘If I can delay her being in that world, I’m going to work super hard to make sure that it doesn’t happen. I don’t care if her friends have got phones. In our house, we don’t want that.’

‘He was sleeping on the floor because I was on the couch, I couldn’t even get up the stairs.
‘If he can carry me to the toilet then he’s a keeper.’
