Snoop Dogg blasted for ‘stand up to hate’ commercial with Tom Brady after performing at Trump inauguration

While many fans tune into the Super Bowl to watch the actual game, many others tune in for the commercials, though one had many fans furious.

Rapper Snoop Dogg and NFL legend Tom Brady both starred in an ad paid for the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism enтιтled ‘No Reason to Hate,’ which infuriated fans since Snoop performed at President Trump’s inauguration.

The ad features the 53-year-old rapper and the 47-year-old NFL legend hurling insults at each other.

‘I hate you because you’re from different neighborhoods,’ Snoop begins, as Brady adds, ‘I hate you because you look different.’

Snoop adds, ‘I hate you because I don’t understand you,’ as Brady responds with, ‘I hate you because people I know hate you.’

They both continue with the insults before a тιтle card reads, ‘The reasons for hate are as stupid as they sound,’ as Snoop says, ‘Man, I hate that things are so bad we have to do a commercial about it,’ as Brady responds, ‘Me too’ as the commercial ends.

Kami Mattioli (@Kami) said, ‘Snoop Dogg starring in a commercial about hate a few weeks after performing at the inauguration is… rich.’

Snoop made a controversial music video in 2017 where he targeted a character quite similar to Trump.

That’s why many fans were surprised when Snoop headlined the Crypto Ball, a pro-Trump, pre-inauguration event in Washington, D.C., which attracted a mix of celebrities and politicians, including House Speaker Mike Johnson.

Many fans took to social media last month to bash Snoop for performing at the Trump event, though he brushed off any criticism.

He shared a video of him smoking a blunt in a car, stating ‘For all the hate, I’m going to answer with love,’ he said after taking a few puffs.

‘Get your life right, stop worrying about mine. I’m cool. I’m together,’ Snoop continued in his laid-back video, though he didn’t mention the inauguration or Trump by name.

‘Still a Black man. Still 100 percent Black,’ he declared. ‘All out ’til you ball out or ’til you fall out.’

The day before, Snoop discussed the backlash to his performance celebrating Trump’s election win on the R&B Money podcast.

‘You’re gonna deal with hate when you get to the top, no matter who you are…’ he said. ‘Me, personally, I answer it with success and love. That’s my answer to any hate and negativity that comes my way, ’cause it’s the strongest force that can beat it.’
