A Four in the Bed star has revealed that some scenes never made it to air on the popular Channel 4 show. 

The hit show sees H๏τel and B&B owners visit each other’s businesses and rate them on their cleanness, food and the room it selfie. 

Back in December James and his partner Neil competed on the show against three other businesses and they have revealed that their was a lot of off camera drama.

James, who owns Uplawmoor H๏τel in Glasgow, revealed to The Sun that one contestant was very ‘inappropriate’ on and off camera and wore ‘attention seeking’ clothing. 

He said: ‘Stephen is probably, he’s pleasant, he’s nice enough, thinks he’s funny. But maybe just slightly inappropriate with his comments and his jokes. 

‘And I don’t just mean for the TV, I just mean in general.’

Back in December James and his partner Neil competed on the show against three other businesses and despite the episode being milder than others, they have revealed that their was a lot of off camera drama

‘He kept wearing inappropriate T-shirts that would say inappropriate things that he obviously was asked to take off and sometimes he would just say, no, I’m not.

‘I don’t know if it’s been blurred or, because you don’t really see them on the show.’

Stephen and his wife Margaret, who own Clachan Garden B&B in the highlands, also caused a stir with at their property with their no shoes policy while inside.

Elsewhere James revealed that Neil injured his arm during an activity on the show which caused filming to be paused. 

The contestant praised the Channel 4 crew for being ‘absolutely amazing’ and really ‘supportive’ after the injury took place. 

A representative for Channel 4 has been contacted by MailOnline for comment. 

It comes as A Four In A Bed couple were left red-faced when a guest called out their ‘stained and torn bedsheets’.

Last year, a re-run of the series from 2011 saw couple Gill and Peter scrutinise feedback forms from their fellow contestants, but they were left less than impressed when one pair scored them a paltry 5 points for cleanliness.

Branding the remark ‘extremely low’, disgruntled B&B owner Peter confronted guest Melvyn’s critique of his accommodation’s bedding, in which of he complained of creased sheets that had a small hole and an unpleasant stain. 

Justifying his review, Melvin told Peter: ‘I think your staff should have gone through it, much more thoroughly.’

Accepting his response, Peter admitted his ‘mistake’, stating: ‘That is our mistake and we totally take that on the chin’, with Melvyn then likening his establishment to Motorway lodgings that lacked the ‘wow factor’.
