Holly Willoughby recalls the ‘wild’ night she downed sH๏τs with Stephen Hawking and Alan Carr before sharing hilarious This Morning blunder

Holly Willoughby made a shocking revelation as she spilled the beans on her ‘wild’ encounter with Stephen Hawking.

The former This Morning presenter, 43, appeared on Friday’s Graham Norton Show alongside fellow guest and host Alan Carr – revealing they once did sH๏τs with the legendary physicist at a party.

The pair were joined on the iconic red sofa by Robert De Niro, Elton John, Anora star Mikey Madison, and Brandi Carlisle.

The Dancing On Ice host made a stunning appearance on the talk show to discuss her Netflix special series CelebrityBear Hunt – but was quick to drop the shocking anecdote.

Holly recalled she had presented This Morning on the day that cosmologist died, 14 March 2018, aged 76, and the producing team on the show prepared a special memorial video to him.

Talking about a hilarious on-air blunder while hosting the daytime show, she said: ‘At the end of the show, we decided we would dedicate the show to Stephen.

‘They had this lovely black and white picture of him, and we were going to dedicate a song to him.

‘This is where live telly can be dangerous, as the sound guy pushed the wrong ʙuттon, and played Meghan Trainor’s All About That Bᴀss by accident, and there was nothing we could do.’

At that point, Holly was visibly struck by the epic memory and turned to Alan quipping: ‘I was very lucky to meet him one time, and I think you were there, too! We went to a party and he was there and we did sH๏τs with him and he was quite wild!’

The beloved English presenter looked effortlessly classy in all-black ensemble featuring a chic shoulder-padded blazer.

Chatting about her latest Netflix project, Holly added: ‘It is so nice to be doing something new and exciting and being on a proper adventure.

‘Working with Bear Grylls has taken me totally out of my comfort zone. The magic of Bear is that he is really convincing and inspirational and even got me to do stuff and I am the scariest person ever!’

And Holly never expected to spend her Glastonbury evening scrubbing a festival toilet – but that’s exactly what happened.

The ITV alum also shared the story of a toilet clean-up fiasco on the talk show on Friday night, where she was joined by music icon Sir Elton John.

She revealed that after watching Elton John’s headline performance at Glastonbury 2024, she found herself in the festival’s infamous, long toilet queues.

When she finally entered a cubicle, she was met with a grim sight.

Holly said: ‘I was there and was having the time of my life. You [Elton] were incredible. Everyone knew you were going to be amazing but honestly it was magic.

‘Everyone was singing and it was like the crowd was moving as one, I’d never seen anything like it.’

She added: ‘Elton was the highlight, but then everyone moved towards the loos. After his set, the loos were chaos. It was disgusting, but when you’ve got to go you’ve got to go.

‘I was standing on the loo – you would not want to sit down – and I thought, “Oh my god, when I come out of here, whoever comes in next will think that was me so I can’t leave that.”

‘I’ve always got a bag of wet wipes on me, so I cleaned that loo until it was spotless. It was perfect. I was back down to earth with a bump after Elton.’
