‘The fact that it’s not in the news anymore, it doesn’t give it anymore attention, it’s not much help.

‘But obviously the government are trying to help and I’m really grateful for that.

‘And I hope everybody will be as safe as possible.’

The dancer then got emotional and wiped his eyes and added: ‘I would just love everybody to be safe.’

Nikita spoke to the Loose ladies about his family in Ukraine back in October 2022.

He told Linda Robson, Carol McGiffin, Judi Love and Kaye Adams: ‘I’m trying to keep my head clear on what I have to do, and I’m trying to help my country and family at the same time.’

The TV star added: ‘The most important thing for me is to to know that my friends and family are safe.

‘It’s important to know that my country is fighting back.

‘The most important thing is that everybody is safe, of course we can’t avoid the war, we can’t give up, but I just hope it ends as soon as possible.

‘It’s heartbreaking to be honest, really hard to talk about in some way.’

Nikita also spoke about his own tour that is coming up called Nikita Kuzmin Midnight Dancer.

He said: ‘I cannot comprehend the fact that even more than my mum is coming to see me.

‘Actual real people are coming to see me, it’s a real dream come true.

‘I’ve always dreamt of it. It’s been four years in the making. It’s finally happening.

‘It’s the most beautiful story that you don’t often see in the strictly tours.’

The star then confessed that he buys flowers for Lauren every week.

Nikita said of his girlfriend: ‘I love Lauren so, so much and I’m really happy. I can support her in her own career and she can support me in mine, very lucky. I feel very lucky.’
