Annie Kilner has turned down a £750,000 offer to appear on Celebrity Big Brother this year.

The wife of wayward footballer Kyle Walker, is understood to be ITV’s ‘top target’ for the show, which will start filming this spring.

But Annie, 33, has told friends that she is ruling it out, at least in part because son Rezon, nine months, is not yet one year old and CBB runs over three weeks of filming.

One said: ‘It’s a format which is all talking and pressure, and people don’t tend to come out of it all that well. Annie I am sure was flattered by the offer but she isn’t going to be taking this one up.’

I hear she would be more interested in following in Coleen Rooney’s steps and going into the jungle for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! which films at the end of the year, or possibly taking a twirl on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing which starts filming at the end of the summer. 

She is a fan of both shows, and also enjoys Dancing on Ice.

TV bosses are keen to secure Annie as she’s not yet told her side of the story over husband Kyle, who has had two children with influencer Lauryn Goodman.

Representatives for Annie and Kyle were contacted for comment. 

Kyle, 34, has just made a move to AC Milan and Annie will be going over to Italy with their four children in the coming weeks. She and the children went to see him play last week.

Her marriage to Kyle is rocky and has been for months, but they spent Christmas together and he was living with her and the children in the marital home from September last year onwards. 

The plan is for Annie and the children to join him permanently in Italy if his loan agreement with AC Milan continues.

Kyle was asked to leave the family home after confirming he’d secretly fathered two children with influencer Lauryn, the second conceived during his marriage to Kilner.

A friend said last month: ‘Annie is working around kids’ school times and pre-planned events. She and the boys will always support Kyle and his career, and Italy is very much on the cards for them long-term, pending his contract with AC Milan being extended.’

The plan for now is that the family will find a house to rent in Milan, and the boys – Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and Rezon – will be home schooled.

If it works out for Kyle at the club, the family will look into other schooling options in Italy and at making a more permanent base in the city.

I’m told the couple have decided jointly that a move abroad could be good for them.

‘They want the marriage to work and they want to keep the family together and they think that Italy might give them that chance. 

‘They have been together since they were teenagers and don’t want to let each other go but obviously the negativity [of his ex-lover Lauryn] and constant reminders aren’t helping that,’ said a friend.

Annie kicked him out of the family home last January after Goodman messaged her to let her know that her second baby was Kyle’s.

Annie then filed for a divorce over the summer, and yet the couple spent Christmas together. 

At the time friends said the legal action was on hold and they were still trying to do what they could to find a path through it all as a family and a couple.

In a touching sign of togetherness, Annie proudly posted a picture of her young family and Kyle standing in front of a Christmas tree in matching pyjamas.

Meanwhile, Lauryn’s endless posting about her family situation on social media – and on a podcast – has been placing considerable strain on the Kyle’s efforts to reconcile. A friend said: ‘Her invasion of their privacy is relentless. It is a big part of their struggle to move forward.’

Kyle fathered Kairo with Lauryn in 2020, despite then having three children with Kilner. 

In 2021, he and Annie married – yet the affair with Lauryn apparently continued, at least briefly, and in August 2023, his second child with her, Kinara, was born.

Meanwhile his fourth child with Annie, baby Rezon, was born in 2024.

Annie was made aware of the paternity of Kinara via a brutal text from Lauryn on December 27th 2023: ‘Hey it’s Lauryn. I just wanted to quickly tell you that Kyle is the father of our daughter.’ Annie was pregnant at the time.
