Fans are worried about Golden Bachelorette Joan Vᴀssos.

That is because the 62-year-old blonde beauty and her 61-year-old fiancé Chock Chapple are still not living together. 

They don’t even reside in the same state: she lives in Maryland while he is in Kansas. Those states are about 1,200 miles apart and a 20 hour drive.

Sometimes they go two weeks without seeing each other, she has admitted. 

‘Hope it works out for them,’ said one of Joan’s fans on her Instagram page while another said, ‘Long distance is not easy.’

They have said that they wanted to find a home together in New York City, and they have been seen visiting the metropolis together, but they have yet to settle in.

They got engaged last year and announced their engagement in November during the finale of the Golden Bachelorette. 

‘We’re not together every single night. We’re still solid, we’re good,’ the blonde told UsWeekly on Wednesday. ‘We don’t have to do that,’ she continued with confidence.

‘And I certainly want to marry this man. He is the person I wanna spend the rest of my life with.’

Sometimes they go two weeks without seeing each other, she has admitted. They have said that they wanted to find a home together in New York City , and they have been seen visiting the metropolis together, but they have yet to settle in 

They don’t more than 14 days without seeing each other. ‘At that point we’re like, “OK, this has been too long. We need to figure out how to get together.” So we’re really very good about figuring our schedules out beforehand,’ she explained.

But she told the outlet they have several fun trips planned for the spring. 

Wedding planning is not happening at the moment. ‘The thought of planning a wedding right now sounds exhausting,’ added Joan.

‘And we have been so busy anyway and I don’t see an end anytime really soon and I don’t necessarily want an end to this. 

‘This is such an experience and it’s so rare for somebody our age to get these opportunities that I’m just gonna keep doing this until they stop asking. Planning a wedding seems like it would halt things and I’d have to concentrate on that and I don’t really wanna do that yet.’

Joan then added they ‘certainly’ talk about the wedding.

‘We’re gonna get married, but we’re not like the young people. We don’t have a biological clock. We’re not trying to establish our lives someplace together,’ she said.

Joan stated that it will happen when it’s right and when she has time to plan it.

‘I’m really excited about it right now. I’m excited about other things that we’re doing,’ she noted.

This comes after Vᴀssos shared a note to her fans that she was fine amid an aviation disaster that took place in Washington DC, near where she lives in Maryland.

The flight was coming from Kansas, where her fiancé Chapple resides.

There was a slight chance one of them could have been around the DC airport even though they are actively looking for an apartment in New York City. 

‘Just wanted to let everyone know that @chockchapple and I are both safe,’ Vᴀssos wrote on her Instagram Stories on Thursday.

‘Thank you to everyone who messaged and checked in on us.’ She continued, ‘We are absolutely heartbroken over the news of the plane crash. Our hearts are with the families and friends of the people on the flight.’

Chapple also released a statement on the accident.

‘My heart goes out to everyone impacted by the tragic plane crash,’ he wrote via his Instagram Stories on Thursday. ‘I’m praying for our city during this difficult time. Joan and I are safe, and we’re sending out love and support.’

More than 60 people were ᴅᴇᴀᴅ after an American Airlines regional pᴀssenger jet collided with a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter a week ago and crashed into the frigid Potomac River near Reagan Washington National Airport.

Vᴀssos and Brock were last seen in NYC.

According to Vᴀssos’ social media, the trip to New York City was part of a celebration for her 62nd birthday.

‘Saw our first Broadway show as a couple,’ he explained, and implying the big night out was bonus during a work trip in which he ‘spoke at a retirement home, went to my first @54below show, met with @lorealparis at their corporate offices, and got customized jeans from @aliceandolivia!’

DailyMail.com has learned that Voss’s engagement ring cost a pretty penny, and has a price tag of around $80,000.

According to The Diamond Bank in Los Angeles, the center stone is large enough to warrant that high price.

‘There is a large emerald-cut center stone with two generous tapered diamond baguettes on each side,’ said a spokesperson.

‘That adds up to a lot of carats and a high price,’ it was added.

Vᴀssos flashed the ring after Chapple got down on one knee and popped the question on the beach in Bora Bora. She said yes then they both said ‘I love you’ several times.

They are set to celebrate their relationship with a big engagement party in Los Angeles before heading to the East Coast.

‘It’s gonna be bigger than most weddings,’ Chock told Us Weekly of the party in the couple’s first interview on Thursday.

‘We’ve got friends coming in from around the country, and it’s kind of our coming-out party as a couple. We’re extremely excited about that.’
