Gemma Collins slammed Cadbury on Instagram on Tuesday after she bought a 1kg bag of Mini Eggs for £14, with the bag appearing only half full.
The TOWIE icon, 44, visited Tesco with her nephew Hayden, 16, and splashed out on the 1kg bag as she treated the teenager.
Gemma was furiuous about the huge price tag and accused the confectionary giant of ‘conning’ children.
In an Instagram story, the GC posted a picture of a happy-looking Hayden posing with the sweet treat, adding the slightly miffed caption: ‘£14!!! For mini eggs.’
The TV personality and her nephew were decidedly unhappy as they realised just how few chocolates their money had got them.
In a second story tagging Cadbury, Hayden said: ‘So this bag of Mini Eggs at the shop cost £14 and you don’t even get a full bag.’

Her nephew Hayden said: ‘So this bag of Mini Eggs at the shop cost £14 and you don’t even get a full bag’
Gemma interjected: ‘Come on Cadbury’s. I’ve just been conned into paying £14 because my nephew loves mini eggs and then when we’ve got them home…’
He added: ‘We’re not satisfied.’
The 1kg bag is available for £15 directly from the Cadbury’s website and most major retailers but at Tesco it is on offer for one pound less.
It is just under four times the size of a typical ‘Family Pack’ which costs a little less than £5 at most shops.
To get 1kg of Mini Eggs using these packets would set a chocolate-lover back around £18.
The smaller 80g bags tend to cost around £1.85, meaning a fan would need to buy 12 and a half to get 1kg of chocolates – at a cost of £23.

In a now deleted Instagram post to her two million followers, Gemma was seen with her arm dangled around the free-roaming pony’s neck and her head resting on top of the animal.
She gushed about having ‘magical moments with the horses’ as she shared snaps from her day out at the national park.
But people reacted with anger and reminded her there were ‘hundreds of signs’ dotted around telling people not to feed or pet the ponies.
Gemma later rowed back on her comments and shared a message from what appeared to be from the New Forest National Park Authority asking her to remove the post.
It also asked her, ‘given Gemma’s large following’, to encourage other visitors to keep their distance from the animals.
The TV star urged her followers in a separate post not to stroke the horses or feed them, writing: ‘As an animal lover, we must do all we can to support these beautiful horses, cows, donkeys, and cows and keep them safe.’
