90s pop star Shola Ama looked unrecognisable after undergoing a glamorous make-up as she took to Instagram with a slew of stunning snaps. 

The singer, 45, who sH๏τ to superstardom in 1997 with the cover of Randy Crawford’s hit You Might Need Somebody, posed up a storm in a very racy maxi dress.

Shola’s dazzling gold dress boasted a daringly plunging neckline and thigh-high split as she flaunted her jaw-dropping figure. 

The stunner styled her blonde locks into loose waves and slipped her feet into a pair of strappy metallic heels. 

She was certainly on fine form as she posed up a storm on an impressive staircase.

Shola later proved that her voice is just as gorgeous as he looks as she took to the mic to perform at a birthday party for rapper Krept of hip-hop duo Krept and Konan.

The surprise performance, which was shared to TiokTok, saw the star leapt behind the decks to belt out her Garage hit imagine, with the rappers seen alongside her. 

Shola proved she’s still got it as she left the excited crowd delighted as she effortlessly sang her 1999 track. 

Commenting on the clip, fans couldn’t help but remark on how her age-defying looks and voice.

They penned: ‘Shola ama ages like wine’; ‘Shola looking better than she did in 1999.’

Shola was discovered singing outside a London Tube station when she was just 15 and became a star with the single You Might Need Somebody. 

Her debut album Much Love sold over a million copies in 1997 and gave her four top twenty singles.

At the height of her career, the star bagged two Mobo awards for Best Newcomer and Best R&B Act.

While she also won Best Female gong at the 1998 Brit Awards. 

Shola’s most recent album was 2015’s Surreal, featuring tracks including Let It Go and Somebody’s Somebody.

As well as her own career, Shola also mentored her sister Sadie Ama, who had signed her own recording contract, releasing tracks including So Sure and Fallin in 2004 and 2007 respectively.

The stunner previously admitted that she wished she had released more music throughout her career. 

She told The Sun: ‘I probably haven’t put out as much music as I would have liked to and should have over the last 25 years.

‘Sometimes you’re only ever as good as your last record and time is a very interesting thing, it just goes

‘Even though I came out at the end of the 90s I’m always considered a 90s artist, I didn’t quite make the noughties.’
