Jennifer Garner enjoyed a lighthearted reunion with her 13 Going On 30 co-star Judy Greer for a girls night out at the theater in L.A. over the past weekend on Saturday. 

The Alias actress, 52 – who recently packed on the PDA with boyfriend John Miller during a rare outing together – joined Greer, 49, as they watched a performance of Noises Off at the Geffen Playhouse. 

The two stars notably played frenemies in the 2004 romantic comedy – which also starred Mark Ruffalo and Andy Serkis. 

Over two decades later, Garner and Greer have remained close friends and could be seen sharing a laugh as they exited the theater following the show. 

Jennifer was stylishly casual wearing a pair of black trousers as well as a plain white shirt and black blazer. 

The mother-of-three slipped into a pair of black boots and easily carried a black purse in her hand.

Garner’s dark locks were parted in the middle, and effortlessly flowed down naturally past her shoulders. 

The ex-wife of Ben Affleck opted for minimal accessories to allow her outfit to be the main focal point, and added a pair of silver earrings. 

Judy also donned a pair of loose-fitting, black pants and a cream-colored sweater that was partially ʙuттoned at the front. 

The Halloween Kills star sported a pair of tan boots and carried a red purse over her shoulder that added a pop of color to the look. 

Greer’s hair was pulled back into a simple ponytail and a patterned scarf was wrapped around her neck for a finishing touch. 

The two pals were seen holding a conversation as they strolled down a sidewalk and shared a laugh at one point. 

Before heading to their next destination, Judy was spotted indulging in a sugary chocolate cupcake that she held in her hand. 

Back in 2004, Jennifer portrayed the character of Jenna while Greer played Lucy in 13 Going On 30 – which was directed by Gary Winick.

Upon its release, the movie garnered $96 million in the box office on a budget of  $37 million. 

The premise followed: ‘Unpopular schoolgirl Jenna Rink makes an unusual wish on her birthday. Miraculously, her wish comes true and the 13-year-old Jenna wakes up the next day as a 30-year-old woman,’ per IMDB.

A musical adaptation of the film is set to premiere at Opera House Manchester in the U.K. later this year from September 21 through October 12.

Last year in April, both Garner and Greer sat down with Vogue to discuss the movie for its 20th anniversary. 

The pair recalled working together on set and Judy shared, ‘We would run into restaurants in our wardrobe to have a quick girls’ lunch and just talk about our lives.’ 

She later added that their ‘friendship chemistry’ was ‘pretty instant’ – with Jennifer agreeing. 

‘It’s always been easy with us. The first time we met was during rehearsals for the Thriller dance,’ the star said. ‘JG and I were totally comfortable with each other and having the time of our lives, but Mark was ready to quit the movie.’ 

At the time of shooting the romantic comedy in New York, Garner was also working on the action thriller series Alias.

Jennifer told Vogue, ‘I taught JG how to do spy stuff in between takes because I was so deep in the world of Alias.’

The pair also discussed staying in touch years after the film was released in theaters. 

‘You can have every intention of staying in touch and say, “I’m not gonna lose this one!” at the end of every movie,’ Greer said.

‘But I think Gary’s pulling on some strings and making sure that not too much time goes by where we don’t see each other,’ she added, referencing to the director.

Last year in April, Jennifer and Judy also reunited to ring in the movie’s 20th anniversary with Mark Ruffalo for a virtual reunion on Instagram.  

Garner has been keeping busy and was recently seen on a rare outing with her boyfriend John Miller as they held hands on a lowkey stroll in L.A.
