Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga performing tribute to LA at Grammys after devastating fires

Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars are planning a tribute to Los Angeles at the Grammys tonight after the devastating LA fires.

The Recording Academy announced that the singers will be performing ‘a special tribute to the city of Los Angeles and those affected by the wildfires’ at the awards show.

The Grammy winners previously collaborated on the 2024 song Die With a Smile.

Gaga, 38, and Mars, 39, were announced as performers at the 2025 ceremony on January 31, one day after Gaga debuted a new song at the Fire Aid concert at the Intuit Dome.

It isn’t clear whether the artists will perform their catchy duet at the awards ceremony, or a different song.

Gaga and Mars have won 28 Grammys combined and could add more to that list tonight as their song is nominated for song of the year and best pop duo/group performance.

She then sang Always Remember Us This Way from the same movie.

The Paparazzi singer concluded her three song set with an original song she wrote with her fiancé Michael Polansky with the aim of spreading a hopeful message.

She noted that the song was written ‘only for tonight,’ to the audience that included first responders who battled the ᴅᴇᴀᴅly wildfires.

The 67th Grammy Awards will welcome some of the globe’s biggest entertainers and VIPs tonight.

While fans look forward to the glittering ceremony, it’s the event’s penchant for shocking moments and crazy antics that really gets people talking .

In 2011 Lady Gaga arrived in a human-sized egg in one of the most memorable moments from the Grammys.

On the red carpet, the star was barely visible through an opaque shell as she was carried on a chair by four scantily-clad attendees.

Once she was on stage, Gaga emerged from the glowing egg to launch into a spectacular version of her single Born This Way.

Wearing a sheer gold skirt and cropped top, with her hair tied up in a style reminiscent of Madonna’s Blonde Ambition tour era, the singer danced her way through the number.

She also played on a dramatic organ with disembodied heads balanced on top.

‘She’s in an embryonic state and won’t be born until the performance,’ one of Gaga’s ᴀssistants told Ryan Seacrest at the time.

Seacrest told E! viewers that the singer had been inside the egg for three hours getting into character with only her Blackberry for company.

In Bruno Mars news, he referenced the rumor that he’s got a $50 million gambling debt on his Instagram Stories on Tuesday via an announcement from Spotify.

The Grammy-winning artist reposted an announcement from the streaming service that he was the first-ever performer to garner a monthly total of at least 150 million listeners.

‘KEEP STREAMING,’ the Honolulu, Hawaii-born performer, whose full name is Peter Gene Hernandez, wrote on the post, which was accompanied by a dancing emoji. ‘I’ll be out of debt in no time.’

The caption referenced the singer’s alleged balance with MGM Resorts ahead of the August 2024 release of Die With A Smile, reading, ‘Lady Gaga on her way to get Bruno Mars out of debt.’

Mars had had a recent H๏τ streak on the charts, as Die With a Smile spent four weeks in the top spot on the Billboard H๏τ 100, while a duet with BLACKPINK’s ROSÉ, тιтled APT., surged to the third spot on the chart more than four months after its release.
