She is perhaps one of the more prominent Victoria’s Secret Angels, but Lily Aldridge was in search of an entirely different set of wings on Friday afternoon.
The 29-year-old arrived at LAX International airport ahead to catch a flight out of the city as they week drew to a close, and she caught the eye in another stylish ensemble.
Sporting a cream vest top and matching trousers Lily cut an elegant figure as she sashayed through departures, a baby pink luggage bag gripped in her left hand.
The model wife of Kings of Leon rocker Caleb Followill added to her look with a sweeping cream coat, while ɴuᴅᴇ stiletto heels rounded things off.
Lily, best known for her work with the Victoria’s Secret lingerie brand, kept her brunette locks effortlessly maintained with a simple side parting that allowed her naturally striking features to take precedence.
One of the model’s closest pals is Taylor Swift, and she recently gushed to Maxim about how down-to-earth the superstar singer is.
‘Taylor makes me dinner. And she’s the sweetest, most humble girl I’ve ever met,’ the model said when asked about her life in Nashville.
Lily told Maxim that when she isn’t hanging out with her famous friend, she enjoys ‘dancing at honky-tonks with 80-year-olds’ or binge-watching Homeland or Game Of Thrones.
And while the stunning brunette is considered a huge Sєx symbol, it’s not a тιтle that fazes her or goes to her head in the slightest.
‘I don’t think of myself as an object of lust. I can’t even say that with a straight face. I’m more flattered when someone thinks I’m funny,’ she said.
Lily, who started modelling at the age of 16, will celebrate her fourth wedding anniversary with Kings Of Leon frontman Caleb in May.
The happy couple met at Coachella Festival in 2007 and tied the knot at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, in 2011.
But Lily insists it’s not all about the glitz and glamour – and her loved ones always come first.
‘I don’t take this life for granted,’ she told Maxim. ‘That’s why I like social media. People see that I’m married, they see I have a family, they see that I’m human.’
