Jessica Simpson has a brand-new heartbreak album coming out in a matter of weeks, DailyMail.com has learned.

The beauty from Texas will not be holding back.

‘She is singing from the heart and there is a lot of pain there, she goes very deep’ the insider said. ‘She has called it the “soundtrack to my soul.”‘

‘It is a bit like the Alanis Morissette Jagged Little Pill album. Very raw and full of wild emotion. She will shock the pants off her fans,’ added the source.

Last year she hinted that the album would be about someone who wronged her as she said on social media: ‘This comeback is personal, it’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve.’

Though everyone knew the album would come out in 2025, the source has claimed the month is February. ‘It’s ready and it’s coming out with a bang very soon,’ said the source.

The siren recorded the music when in Nashville, Tennessee last year. That is where she got back to her country music ‘roots.’ It is her first album in 15 years.

As DailyMail.com reported in mid January, the album that have to do with heartbreak as she penned them when her marriage to Eric Johnson was unraveling.

‘It will be about her broken heart, so, yeah, I guess you can call it a revenge, a heartbreak album,’ a source told DailyMail.com.

‘When Jessica writes music, she pours her heart into it and has no filter, it’s very personal. So the album will really be about the struggles she has been through at home. It is super emotional and shares her side of the story.

‘She has been working on the album for years, there is a lot in there.’ 

DailyMail.com has reached out to Jessica’s rep for comment. 

In addition to working in Nashville, she has been recording at Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles.

The last time she posted a pH๏τo with Eric to her Instagram page was in September 2023; they separated last year.

‘Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage,’ the singer, 44, shared in a statement with People, in regards to her marriage to the former NFL player, 45.

‘Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family,’ she added.

The pair share three children: daughter Maxwell, 12, son Ace, 11, and daughter Birdie, five.

The couple hasn’t been spotted together since Birdie’s kindergarten graduation back in June 7, and Jessica’s Instagram has been conspicuously Eric-free since their Easter celebration on April 9.

Jessica raised eyebrows by failing to give Eric a birthday shout-out on his 45th birthday on September 10, further igniting rumors of a marital rift.

Adding fuel to the fire, he has also been spotted without his wedding ring in recent outings.

Jessica fueled the chatter with a cryptic social media post on November 11 that appeared to throw shade at someone close to her.

‘Interviews in my Nashville music room where I unearthed my singular magic,’ began the singer in her caption.

‘This comeback is personal, it’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve.’

Her quote raised eyebrows as followers tried to guess who made her put up with ‘everything I did not deserve.’

Simpson has previously teased her new music. 

In December, she shared, ‘I’m feelin’ extra grateful today for excitin’ new opportunities and inspirin’ meetings regardin’ music and new entertainment endeavors.’

Simpson previously explained how the children she shares with husband Eric Johnson inspired her to return to performing.

‘I’m doing this as a mother now, as a wife. I was a wife last time, but this is a very different marriage,’ she told Bustle in July 2023.

The Dukes of Hazzard actress noted that her kids have ‘never seen’ her perform live, explaining Maxwell saw her first concert with Kim Kardashian’s daughter North West.

‘I have my daughter taking a private plane with North West to go see Katy Perry in Vegas,’ said Simpson. ‘And inside I’m like: “She was supposed to see me first.”

‘Then I’m like: “This is not compeтιтive, Jessica. Let your daughter enjoy Katy Perry.” But there’s moments that make me want to do it – for them to see that color of me,’ she added.

After releasing her last album Happy Christmas in 2010, Simpson said, ‘It boggles my mind that I’ve stayed relevant and that people are curious, because I have not entertained. I have not entertained at all.’

In September, Simpson explained to People that she took time off from her career to focus on her family after marrying Johnson in 2014.

‘I was too nervous to go back to my career until I felt my kids were confident enough in school and in life,’ she said in September. ‘I wanted to be a mom first.’ 

After spending the summer working on new music in Nashville, Simpson said her kids are ‘very excited, and they know that I’m living my dream and that’s what I was born to do. 

‘To have them experience that with me is going to be really beautiful,’ said Simpson.

In August, Simpson opened up about her sobriety after an online troll told her to stop drinking. 

‘I haven’t wanted or touched alcohol since October 2017 and it has been the best decision I’ve made for myself and for my family,’ she wrote.
