Renee Zellweger was lovingly supported by her boyfriend Ant Anstead at the Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy afterparty following the premiere on Wednesday. 

The loved-up couple packed on the PDA as they exited the star-studded bash, held at Brᴀsserie Zedel in London. 

The award-winning actress, 55, stole the show in a fuchsia pink gown as she graced the red carpet in Leicester Square earlier in the night.

Ant, 45, made sure to let Renee steal the spotlight as he waited to make an appearance until the afterparty following the glitz and glamour.

Renee and Ant couldn’t take their hands off each other as they called it a night and headed out. 

The pair met while filming an episode of his series Celebrity IOU Joyride in April 2021.

Renee’s co-star Hugh Grant also departed the afterparty at the same time with his wife Anna Elisabet Eberstein.

Renee reunited with her on-screen love rat ex Hugh, who has played the role of Daniel Cleaver throughout the fan-favourite film series, at the premiere.

Hugh and Renee were joined by One Day star Leo Woodall, who plays her character’s love interest in the most recent instalment of the rom-com saga. 

The actor, 28, cut a dapper figure in a brown velvet suit, layered over a smart black shirt and matching shoes. 

Leo was also joined by his supportive girlfriend Meghann Fahy. 

Renee recently chatted to Hugh for the new issue of British Vogue and shared a rare insight into her and Ant’s romance.

‘I live in Southern California, near San Diego, because that’s where my fellow lives, and his little boy,’ she opened up, referencing her boyfriend’s five-year-old son Hudson.

Ant shares the little boy with ex-wife Christina Haack, who is in the process of divorcing her third husband Josh Hall.

Fans have previously suspected that Renee and Ant are married as the UK-bred television personality has referred to his lady as his ‘missus’ in several social media posts.

In July 2023, The US Sun reported that the Hollywood fixture told friends she and Ant were planning a wedding.

An insider told the outlet at the time, ‘Renee and Ant are keeping their plans incredibly private, they’re not planning a big public announcement.’

It was added that, ‘She has been telling her inner circle about organizing their nuptials. Everything will be very low-key.

‘Her relationship with Ant is super strong and they’re madly in love, and they can’t wait to get hitched.’

The Love And A 45 star was previously married to country star Kenny Chesney for just four months, with the couple splitting in 2005.

Ahead of her short-lived marriage, she was engaged to Jim Carrey from 1999 to 2000.
