He completed his look with black tailored trousers and matching smart shoes, posing confidently for the cameras ahead of the event. 

Nikolai appeared in high spirits as he sat front row with Derek Blasberg at the Vertigeneux Valentino Haute Couture Spring/Summer show. 

It was reported last month that Kate had ended her nine-year relationship with Nikolai and moved out of their shared London home, according to insiders, who also revealed that their different approaches to life caused friction.

A source told The Sun that the exes remain on good terms but ‘have been on and off for months,’ and eventually Kate felt the time was right to move on and cut ties.

‘She felt they were going on different journeys in life. And, at 50, Kate feels fabulous and like she wants to get back out there and have some fun in time for Christmas.’

‘Despite being 13 years her junior, Nikolai wants to enjoy a quieter life. He remains on his sober path and they just have increasingly different hobbies and wants.’

Meanwhile, fashion designer Susie, 58, made sure all eyes were on her in a black wrap dress adorned with sparkly purple and green thistles. 

Completing the look with black lace gloves and matching тιԍнтs, she added a quirky slip-on green shoe and a silver sparkly bow clip. 

Annie Lennox’s daughter Tali opted for a plunging cream floaty blouse and matching skirt as she flashed a hint of cleavage in the ensemble. 

The model, 31, completed the look with long black plaited pigtails as she struck a serious expression on the front row. 

Elton’s outing comes after he celebrated his ninth Official Number 1 album with his album Diamonds on Friday.
