Charlotte Crosby has broken her silence on the terrifying armed burglary that she suffered last year – and has admitted that she’s ‘rethinking her future’ after the invasion was caught on camera as part of her new TV show.   

The 34 year old and fiance Jake Anker were subjected to an armed burglary at their £1 million Sunderland mansion back in November last year. 

The reality star, who is about to give birth to her second child with fiance Jake Ankers any time now, recently sat down with MailOnline to chat about her brand new show Geordie Stories: Charlotte’s New Baby. 

And the upcoming four-part Paramount+ series will include the aftermath of the terrifying incident. 

Charlotte exclusively told MailOnline: ‘There’s lots of things that have happened over the past few months that are quite heavily featured, which I’ve never spoken about at all, because obviously it’s police matters.

‘But the burglary, everything like that, the show was there.

The star bought the stunning mansion in 2015 and started renovating in 2020

The mum-to-be had a terrifying time 

‘Do you know what I mean? 

‘But I’ve never spoke about that with anyone. I’ve not answered any interview questions. It’s a police matter like as it stands.

‘But basically, the show was with us 24/7, whilst all this was going on.

‘So there’s lots – there’s so much in every single episode and there’s only four episodes. 

‘So like, you’re kind of not going to want it to end.’

After such a scary ordeal, when asked about if she felt nervous about opening her home up for the world to see on the telly, the mum-to-be admitted that it did make her ‘rethink’ her decision. 

Charlotte admitted: ‘I’ve been in that house for a decade, and it’s been on TV all the way through them 10 years. 

‘I think, after it happened, it definitely made us rethink like how much of the house I should really be showing.

‘Now I’ve got children.

‘And so it definitely made us rethink a lot of things, having a lot of conversations and just like, thinking about a lot.

‘Yeah, I definitely think, not necessarily nervous… But definitely rethinking like, maybe the future.’ 

Charlotte was heavily pregnant with her unborn daughter when a gang of balaclava-masked raiders entered her home. 

Jake took to his Instagram story to share his anger and shock at the situation.  

The businessman said: ‘I can’t believe I’m saying this but some little c***s have tried to rob my house with my two-year-old and my partner who is nearly eight months pregnant, armed with a machete.’

Jake added on his story: ‘One of them who was in the house at the top of the stairs had a red balaclava on. 

Charlotte and Jake have been together since late 2021

‘He is the one that had the machete. Me little girl’s in the house. Me partner’s in the house.’ 

Days later Charlotte gave fans an update on her social media, confessing that it left her ‘living in fear’. 

She told her fans on Instagram: ‘I now have the BEST security in the northeast with man guards, security dogs and 24/7 surveillance.’   

The star added: ‘I’ve been living in fear since last week. Not feeling safe in your own home with small children is really something else.

‘I’ve been trying my hardest to put what happened out of my head! And I’m sorry for being on here! 

‘It’s just took some time dealing with everything that’s gone on and then I was in hospital!’

Charlotte’s new programme will follow her journey into motherhood as she becomes a mum of two. 

And it sounds like the Geordie lᴀss won’t be leaving our screens any time soon.

Charlotte exclusively told us: ‘I just don’t think I’m ready to stop sharing my life just yet. Do you know what I mean?

‘It is kind of my job as well, so kind of how I get paid. So I did think that, you know I’m not ready. 

‘There will be a point in which I will say, that I’ll be ready to stop, I think, but I don’t think it’s for a good few years yet. I enjoy it too much.’

However there will be a time when it does come in the future. 

Charlotte added: ‘I think that point is definitely going to come. And I’ve spoke about this quite a lot, because I always use this as an example. 

‘Obviously my children, I’ll have to say, because I’m having my next one very soon, are my life, right? 

‘And their lives are very important to us, and I don’t want to ruin their lives by just forcing them into the public eye, when they get to a certain age. 

‘They can’t even go out with their friends to the shopping center, because everyone just knows who they are.’

Charlotte and Jake started dating back in 2021.

The pair got engaged in 2023.

The couple welcomed their daughter Alba, two, into the world in October 2022.

Back in September the star announced that they were expecting their second child.
