She’s been in the industry for more than three decades – but swimsuit-clad Helena Christensen proved she’s still making waves as she took to Instagram on Saturday. 

The 56-year-old showed off her age-defying figure in a strapless pink ʙικιɴι as she posed on a sunny beach.

It was a far cry from the Danish model’s dip into a frozen pond, which she shared with her Instagram followers last month.

During her jaunt to the beach she cemented her supermodel status by making a makeshift seaweed hat, that she playfully teamed with her swimwear, to look fashionable.

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel, who did not disclose which exotic location she was at, shared a string of snaps of herself, including one in which she’s seen smiling with her hands on her waist looking into the camera with the seaweed crown.

Fans complimented the ‘beautiful’ and ‘forever young’ model’s snaps along with her famous pals, including actress Kate Bosworth, 42, who wrote in the comment section: ‘Magical girl in the most magical place.’ Christensen replied: ‘Our secret spot.’

Helena was accompanied by son Mingus Lucien, 25, her only child with actor Norman Reedus – as they unwound close to the shoreline. 

The Danish star welcomed Mingus, who works in the music industry, during a five year relationship with The Walking ᴅᴇᴀᴅ star Reedus in 1999. 

The model and mother of one routinely shares images of her ʙικιɴι body on her Instagram page to the delight of her followers.

She recently shared her beauty secrets and said: ‘Whether I have five minutes or an hour, I’ll devote time to a mini – or less mini – ritual, where I put oils on my body and mᴀssage them in, almost turning it into a little exercise moment where I stretch at the same time. 

‘I like to slap my arms and legs and the sides of my calves for circulation.’

Helena’s latest holiday follows a tribute she posted to her ‘beautiful friend’ Lisbeth McCoy earlier this year after she sadly pᴀssed away.

New York based Lisbeth pᴀssed away after a battle with skin cancer. She is survived by her husband Jason and son Charlie.

Helena shared a carousel of their friendship over the years, including one black and white pH๏τo from when she was at the beginning of her modelling career.

The model wrote: ‘Lisbeth, my beautiful friend. You have flown to heaven way too soon and you are now in the arms of your sweet parents, but you will be in my heart and thoughts every day for the rest of my life.’

‘There was no one like you, you were an illuminated unicorn here on earth, the sweetest, most loving mother to your beautiful son Charlie, the kindest, most thoughtful and loyal friend to me, always checking in, always thinking of everyone around you.’
