Carey Mulligan cut a chic figure on Saturday as she was joined by Tom Basden at the premiere of their latest movie The Ballad of Wallis Island in Utah.
The actress, 39, who plays Nell Mortimer in the new movie, looked effortlessly stylish in a black wool coat and matching jumper as she arrived at the Eccles Theatre in Park City for the Sundance Film Festival.
She paired her outfit with a camel-coloured midi skirt and added inches to her frame with a pair of black knee-high boots.
Carey kept her beauty look simple, opting for minimal makeup, as she posed for several snaps with her co-stars ahead of the premiere.
Meanwhile, her co-star Tom, 45, looked sharp in a crisp light pink shirt and a black blazer. He completed the look with tailored trousers and stylish brown leather brogues.
The duo was also joined by their co-star Tim Key, 48, who stayed warm in a cobalt blue scarf and a grey knit jumper.

The Ballad of Wallis Island follows Charles (Tim), an eccentric lottery winner living alone on a remote island, who dreams of reuniting his favourite musicians, Nell Mortimer (Carey) and Herb McGwyer (Tom), to perform together again.
His fantasy becomes reality when the bandmates—who are also former lovers—accept his invitation for a private show on Wallis Island. But old tensions resurface as Charles desperately tries to salvage his dream gig.
It comes after Carey sweetly recalled being pen pals with her husband Marcus Mumford when they were children.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain last year, she recalled meeting Marcus at a summer camp when they were children.
They stayed in touch through letters before losing contact for about 10 years. The couple later reconnected when Carey was 24, and they married in 2012.
Speaking on GMB she said: ‘We ended up going to the same summer camp when we were kids so we became pen pals after and that’s how we kept in touch, we didn’t have phones!’
‘We used to fax a bit when fax machines were cool! We need to get kids back doing the pen pal thing again. It’s a good thing.’
‘Then there was about 10 years when we lost touch and then we reconnected.’

Presenter Richard Madeley then quipped: ‘It was written in the stars!’
The show then flashed up a video of Marcus carrying her down a hallway on their wedding day as she gushed: ‘Oh look at us. That was because my shoes were so unbelievably painful I couldn’t walk.’
‘So I just said I’m done you will have to carry me. And then he put me down and was huffing and puffing.’
Carey and Marcus now have three children: Evelyn, 8; Wilfred, 5; and a third child born in September 2023, whose name has not been revealed.
