Sarah Jessica Parker looked great on Friday as she attended Sundance Film Festival in support of her The Librarians documentary.

The longtime actress, 59, kept warm in a layered ensemble that included a billowy dark gray dress with ruffles, a lighter gray chunky knit sweater, and tall, purple, suede boots.

She arrived in a cozy black winter coat with a hood and oversized sporty and chic black sunglᴀsses.

The And Just Like That… star flashed her megawatt smile in a subtle face of makeup that gave her visage a glowy finish.

At one event, she sat down with Variety to discuss the fight against book bans.

‘I have great concerns about what happens to these kinds of public insтιтutions,’ Parker said of libraries and schools. ‘I think they’re the gateway actually for safety and understanding.’

She has executive produced Kim A. Snyder’s documentary, which is one of 91 movies on the festival’s 2025 Premieres lineup, per Variety.

The film was brought to fruition through the star’s company Pretty Matches Productions.

‘I have enormous faith that if we allow our librarians to do their job and for people to calm down and listen, we have an opportunity to be wonderfully different people.’

Speaking to Variety at Red Sea Film Festival in December, Sarah said about the project: ‘It’s about the librarians across our country who’ve been fighting against these book bans.’

According to an April 2024 PEN America report, most school book bans were implemented in Florida.

The state saw 3,135 bans across 11 of its school districts. 

It also outlined that complaints from one parent in Wisconsin led to a banning of 444 books in a school district in the state.

Sarah’s book imprint, SJP Lit, which is partnered with independent publisher Zando, was announced in March 2022.
