Demi Moore shared a behind-the-scenes look at how she celebrated her first-ever Oscar nomination on Thursday.
After getting recognized for her exceptional performance as Elisabeth Sparkle in The Substance, the actress, 62, posted a pH๏τo of her reaction while on a Facetime call with Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Meyer and Sara Foster to her Instagram Story.
In a screensH๏τ, taken by Foster, 43, the mom-of-three looked overwhelmed with joy as her face was filled with an astonished expression as everyone else seemingly yelled out in delight.
‘Ladies and gentlemen… oscar nominated actress… @demimoore,’ the eldest daughter of David and Rebecca Foster captioned the image.
Moore also shared a sweet video embracing award-winning producer, Heather Parry, who gushed she was ‘so happy’ for her friend ‘on her well deserved Oscar nomination.’
‘I’m not the best morning person, but this was worth the early alarm!’ she wrote across the heartwarming footage of them hugging.

Oscar nominations were presented bright and early on January 23, starting at 5:30 a.m. PT., which explains why Moore was still in her bedtime attire.

Moore also received a sweet congratulatory message from her longtime manager, Jason Weinberg, who wrote on his Instagram Story that he ‘couldn’t be prouder’ of her.
The Hollywood legend is nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her role as a famed aerobics instructor who takes a black-market drug that can create a ‘younger, more beautiful, more perfect’ version of its user.
She will be competing against Cynthia Erivo, Karla Sofía Gascon, Mikey Madison, and Fernanda Torres for the achievement.
Following the news, the Ghost star took to her Instagram Story to thank The Academy and to congratulate The Substance director Coralie Fargeat for their nod.
The horror movie was nominated in five categories: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Actress (Demi), and Best Makeup and Hairstyling.

Her renaissance comes after the relative flops of films such as Striptease in 1996 and G.I. Jane in 1997, which meant her blockbuster roles soon grew fewer and further between at the turn of the century.
Demi revealed in her teary Golden Globes acceptance speech that she was called a ‘popcorn actress’ 30 years ago – a comment she said ‘corroded’ her.
She said while accepting the honor for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical: ’30 years ago, I had a producer tell me that I was a popcorn actress.
‘At that time I made that mean that this wasn’t something that I was allowed to have, that I could do movies that were successful, that made a lot of money, but that I couldn’t be acknowledged.

‘I bought in, and I believed that, and that corroded me over time, to the point where I thought a few years ago that maybe this was it – maybe I was complete, maybe I’ve done what I was supposed to do.’
It was at that ‘low point,’ Demi said, that she received the script for The Substance which she called ‘magical, bold, courageous, out of the box [and] absolutely bonkers.’ ‘The universe told me that you’re not done,’ she added.
Her daughters Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30, were left emotional after their mother garnered her first major acting award since starting her career in the 1980s.
After stepping onto the stage, Demi was greeted by applause from the celebrity guests and admitted, ‘Wow, I really wasn’t expecting that.’
