The Traitors fans were in mourning after Thursday night’s episode saw the loss of series favourite Freddie Fraser, otherwise known as ‘the worst traitor in history.’
Just 24 hours after he was recruited by long-time traitor Charlotte Berman, Freddie was banished after his feeble lies failed to convice the final five of his faithfulness.
Freddie received five votes at the round table leading to his banishment, with viewers quick to post mournful memes online.
His ‘epic fail’ saw him lie that he had known about Leanne’s shield, insisting the now-banished Traitor Minah Shannon had told him at the bar.
However, Francesca Rowan-Plowden was quick to note that Minah had already left the castle by the time they headed to the bar, leaving Freddie’s reasoning in tatters.
‘Not Freddie saying Minah told him at the bar. She was already in the jeep halfway down the mountain,’ laughed one fan.

Others were quick to dub Freddie ‘the worst traitor ever’ with one posting on X:
‘Okay no I want to make this clear. Freddie is THE worst traitor of all time. No debate. I’ve never seen a traitor be caught out in a lie as easy and quick as that. There was no thought behind that pretty face of his’
‘Linda the worst traitor ever, Freddie “hold my beer” ffs’ quipped another.
Speaking after his banishment Freddie admitted he had zero strategy in the game, confessing: ‘I think my strategy all along was just to be myself, I can’t put on a facade or portray a different character than who I really am.’
‘My strategy was to get along more with the ladies and do a bit of flirting here and a bit of charming there. I think I’m like that in my everyday life anyway, so fit perfectly.’
He added though that he was gutted to leave the compeтιтion as a traitor, explaining: ‘The worst part is that I had to stand up there and say that I was a Traitor, even though it had only been a day!’
‘I could have done so many things differently, but everyone will think that looking back. If you haven’t won, you’re obviously going to look back and think you could have done stuff differently.
‘I’m happy with how I played it.’

Elsewhere in Thursday’s episode The Traitors unveiled a huge twist in the game, revealing that the the players had a chance to win the power of the Seer.
She explained: ‘The Seer has the power to know one other players true idenтιтy. The Seer will invite one player this evening to a private face to face meeting.’
‘That player that they have chosen will have no choice and will have to reveal if they are a faithful or a traitor. This power could turn the entire game on its head.’
Freddie was banished at the end of a tense round table, leaving Frankie the winner of the power of the seer.
‘This could be the difference between winning and losing the game’ Claudia told Frankie as she decided who to invite to the face to face meeting.
‘Charlotte I could bring in as an affirmation of a faithful,’ Frankie said. ‘Alexander, I have wound myself in knots. Do I pick someone I am confident in like Charlotte and form an alliance or do I invite Alexander, why did he give me the coins?’
‘My gut is that I need to clear up the people close to me.’
In the end, Frankie made a shock decision and chose Charlotte, convinced she was a faithful. The remaining faithfuls were suspect of her choice, speculating that because Freddie had voted for Charlotte at the round table, Frankie was suspicious of her.

‘In my heart I hope she is a faithful then I can take a sigh of relief that one person is one hundred percent faithful and it was the person I always thought it was,’ Frankie said.
But a stressed Charlotte confessed: ‘My mind is just whirring. Where do I go from here? I feel very pinned in the corner. I am the last traitor standing, it is literally her word against mine.’
