This Morning viewers gasp ‘what am I watching?!’ as woman spreads her legs for invasive ‘vaginal anti-ageing’ procedure live on show

This Morning viewers were left open-mouthed as a woman spread her legs for an invasive ‘vaginal anti-ageing’ procedure live on the show.

During Thursday’s instalment of the ITV programme, presenter Cat Deeley, 48, hosted a segment about a 60-minute treatment which promises to ‘anti-age your vagina’ and welcomed a woman on the show who was willing to have the treatment.

During the segment, the brave volunteer could be seen lying down in a chair with a towel protecting her modesty as Cat and Dr Zoe Williams listened to the professional explaining how the treatment works.

As soon as the segment hit screens, viewers flocked to X, formerly Twitter, to express their disbelief at what they were witnessing on live television.

One shocked viewer wrote: ‘Just turned on #ThisMorning – WHAT am I watching?’; ‘Whatever next (cringe emoji)’; ‘Oh my word #ThisMorning.’

At the end of the segment, the camera then panned back to Ben Shephard, 50, who was awkwardly sat at the main desk by himself as the show went to a break.

During Thursday’s instalment of the ITV programme, presenter Cat Deeley, 48, hosted a segment about a 60-minute treatment which promises to ‘anti-age your vagina’

The shocking segment comes shortly after Ben and Cat were thrown into disarray after producers unexpectedly altered the show’s schedule, causing confusion during the live broadcast.

The programme’s popular feature, Spin To Win, is typically aired around midday before the show concludes, however, on Thursday bosses decided to move it forward, broadcasting the segment before 11am.

Entrants were evidently caught off guard by the rescheduled timing, resulting in an uncomfortable situation for the hosts as they attempted to call participants who weren’t ready for the earlier slot.

Adhering to the usual routine, Cat and Ben began phoning applicants hopeful to snag a prize.

Participants are required to pick up within six rings and utter the secret pᴀssphrase to qualify.

And after calling a third individual to no avail, the problem becomes apparent, with Ben blurting out: ‘It’s because we’ve changed the time, they aren’t expecting our call.’

The fourth participant promptly answered on the fourth ring but stumbled by simply saying ‘Hello’, omitting the all-important pᴀssphrase.

Concerned about running out of contestants, they reached out to the production team, querying: ‘How many have we got left?’

Cat and Ben were informed that only six callers remained to potentially participate, leaving them with just two more chances to secure a candidate.

They quickly dialled the fifth caller, but it was clear they wouldn’t answer.

Down to their last caller, they anxiously counted the rings, but after the sixth ring, they realised they would have to offer an alternative.

This was the first time Cat and Ben, who took over presenting duties from Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby last year, had encountered a lack of callers.

They sought guidance from show executives once more, and following a prompt through her earpiece, Cat announced: ‘It’s a rollover!’ while her co-host gave the wheel a spin.

As a result, whoever gets through to play the game on Friday’s show will now have the opportunity to compete for double prizes.

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1 from 10am and is available to stream on ITVX.
