Selena Gomez teased fans with what might be new music in an Instagram Story post shared on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old multihyphenate wore a white tank top and had black headphones over her ears while playing a snippet of music at a low, muffled volume.

She turned the camera to a computer screen, which she obscured with a large red heart emoji.

Gomez then turned the camera back to her face as she made a wide-eyed expression, but said nothing.

The former child star was sitting in a spacious bedroom with a green couch on one side — the same piece of furniture she was seen sitting on in a recent TikTok from fiancé Benny Blanco, 36.

Blanco’s snippet also hinted at new tunes from his songstress wife-to-be, who recently said she was ‘a little bit too old for the pop star life.’

During a December chat with Saoirse Ronan for Variety’s Actors on Actors series, Selena opened up about her career in entertainment. 

She noted, ‘I definitely think my strong suit is probably acting. But one thing I’m proud of in music is being able to tell a story — my favorite songs are mostly ballads, and they’re very transparent and honest.’

The Only Murders In The Building sensation added, ‘But I think I might be a little too old for the pop-star life. 

‘I’m genuinely so happy to just be in this new era of my life, because in a lot of ways, it’s just the beginning.’

Gomez announced her engagement to music producer Blanco late last year, one year after she confirmed their relationship.

And in a TikTok he shared days ago, he responded to a fan who asked, ‘Benny, please make some new songs for our queen.’

In a three-second snippet, he opened a door to show his fiancée propped on a sofa as she sat behind a professional recording studio microphone. 

Selena’s last musical project was March 2021’s Spanish-language album Revelación, released nearly four years ago.

The Golden Globe nominee revealed her engagement news on Instagram, sharing pH๏τos of her huge diamond engagement ring with her 422million followers.

‘Forever begins now..’ she captioned a carousel of four images, including one of her husband-to-be holding her in his arms as he kissed her head.

Prior to Blanco’s proposal, the star was tied to a number of A-listers, most famously Blanco’s collaborator Justin Bieber, 30.

Gomez also dated The Weeknd, Zedd, Nick Jonas, Taylor Lautner and Zayn Malik.

Selena confirmed her relationship with Blanco in December 2023 and said they’d already been together six months.
