Julia Fox displayed her unique style as she stepped out in a huge hat at a film event in New York City on Tuesday night.

Promoting her latest movie Presence, Julia looked every inch the horror actress, wearing an all-black ensemble imitating the film’s supernatural villain.

The Italian-American star, 34, arrived at Bravo Studios in a thick, leather zip-up top which accentuated her jaw-dropping figure during the glitzy event.

She paired the item with a midi skirt, which featured a slit and a row of black ʙuттons up the middle, a boxy black handbag and the bold oversized hat.

The Uncut Gems actress added classic black stilettos that elevated her stature and featured extra-long pointy toes.

Julia kept warm with a black down puffer jacket and black stockings and wore her hair in a silver bob, opting for striking white eyeshadow filled in under heavily arched eyebrows.

Thriller horror Presence, which also stars Lucy Liu premieres in cinemas in the UK and the US on Friday and tracks a family who become convinced their new suburban home is haunted.

Julia confidently debuted her brand new hairdo last week but has since expressed mixed feelings about the unusual choice.

She told Page Six: ‘I was going for Ace Ventura, like sleazy guy, I don’t know, I’m just into that right now. I like cut off all of my hair the other day, and then I just kept going. And now we’re here.’

Shortly before the Presence premiere last week she admitted in a TikTok video that she ‘instantly regretted’ chopping off her hair.

She mouthed along to the video’s audio: ‘Girl, don’t do it. It’s not worth it. I’m not going to do it, girl. I was just thinking about it. I’m not going to do it.’

Then she showed her newly cut hair, mouthing, ‘I did it.’

The model rocketed to fame when she appeared in the acclaimed 2019 crime thriller Uncut Gems and the girlfriend of a jeweller and gambling addict played by Adam Sandler.

One of her biggest films in the wake of the acclaimed box-office success was Steven Soderbergh’s period crime thriller No Sudden Move, which starred Don Cheadle and Benicio Del Toro as Detroit criminals who get roped into a murderous plot after a blackmail scheme goes wrong.

Now Julia is working with Steven again on Presence, playing a realtor in the movie which has so far been a hit among the critics.

She is known for her daring style, whether it’s going braless in a Victorian era corset frock or strutting her stuff in head-to-toe, and last week the Hollywood it-girl embraced her masculine side at the film’s premiere in New York City.

Julia posed up inside AMC Lincoln Square in a black long-tail tuxedo jacket over a colorful floral ʙuттon-up blouse and white T-shirt. 

She threw on baggy black slacks and brown leather platform loafers to complete the quirky outfit, while also rocking her new shorter haircut.
