Love Is Blind stars Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis have split.
The former couple tied the knot on season 7 of the Netflix hit, which aired in October 2024, confirmed the split to People, with Ashley, 32, saying it was ‘necessary for her growth and peace.’
The split reveal comes just three months after scenes from the Netflix show showed Francis, 35, admitting he had fathered three kids via sperm donation before filming commenced.
He previously falsely alleged his donation was for a couple who ‘couldn’t afford a sperm donor’ and told Ashley that he wasn’t sure if his offspring ‘even knew what he looks like’ – before clarifying matters on the show reunion in October.
Ashley said: ‘After much reflection, I want to share that Tyler and I have been separated for several weeks and have now made the difficult decision to end our marriage.
‘While I had hoped for mutual understanding and transparency in our relationship, it has become clear that our paths are no longer aligned, making it impossible for me to continue in this marriage.

‘This was not a decision I made lightly, but one I know is necessary for my own growth and peace. While this chapter is ending, I will always hold respect for the time and love we shared.
‘I kindly ask for privacy during this deeply personal time as I focus on healing and building a new future. Thank you for your understanding and support.’
The pair had emerged as one of the season’s strongest matches after connecting and getting engaged without seeing each other’s faces. They got married in the season seven finale.
During the ninth episode of season seven, he confessed to his bride-to-be that he fathered three kids through sperm donation after they stepped out of the pods.
Their connection faltered when Francis made his confession and Ashley subsequently started having doubts.
They were two weeks away from their nuptials when the account manager unveiled his shocking secret.
Afterwards, during the episode Adionser conveyed her apprehensions about continuing their romance.
‘I left. I needed to separate and get by myself and just get my thoughts together,’ Adionser said.

‘While I had hoped for mutual understanding and transparency in our relationship, it has become clear that our paths are no longer aligned, making it impossible for me to continue in this marriage’
‘I just don’t understand how our superpower seems like it’s not our superpower anymore,’ she said.
‘I feel like we had such great communication and I don’t understand how two weeks before our wedding you drop this kind of bomb.’
After learning about his secret, she admitted she had been replaying ‘every conversation’ she ever had with him.
When he told her that he fathered ‘two girls and a boy’ as a sperm donor, her concern did not waver. She also said he did not paint the ‘full picture’ for her.
Francis validated her feelings and asked ‘for a chance’ instead of ‘forgiveness.’
After the episodes aired, a woman claiming to be the mother of Tyler’s children – Bri Thomas – came forward and refuted Tyler’s claims, alleging that he had been a presence in the kids’ lives.
She had also previously implied that their kids are not ‘sperm babies’.
The pair were rocked by pH๏τos of Tyler and his children spending time together at Christmas, as well as allegations he owed child support and ‘abandoned’ his kids to be on the show.
On the reunion Tyler said he ‘did help a friend and her wife start a family’ and said he ‘voluntarily’ stepped in to help care for the children after his friend’s wife left her.
She brought up the fact that they previously discussed having children during their courtship in the pods and that was a good opportunity to confess to her. She also said he did not paint the ‘full picture’ for her
He said he did lie about not knowing what his kids looked like to ‘protect their privacy,
He also insisted that he had informed Ashley, and that the pair had multiple off-camera conversations.
Tyler began: ‘Those kids, that family, they did not sign up for this. What is happening now, I am trying to keep that from happening.
‘Their birth certificates are online, things that shouldn’t be happening are now happening.’
He continued: ‘To get into the story, I did help a friend, and her wife start a family, but her wife ended up leaving her high and dry.

‘This was my very close friend, so I voluntarily stepped in and helped. So, there is pictures of me around, I’ve spent holidays with all my friends, all their kids, and I played a part that became very shaky with a friend.
‘There are no rule books to this, there are no set lines to this, but I do want to let people know Ashley knows all this.’
‘This is news to the world, this has never been news to us, and I’m giving this explanation now because I feel like the world is waiting for it, but I don’t owe anyone an explanation but my wife and if she’s sitting here with me…’ Tyler added.
Ashley – who married Tyler in the show’s finale – corroborated his claims and added that he wasn’t comfortable talking about the situation on camera in the first place.
‘This was something he never wanted to share on camera,’ she said.
‘I just didn’t feel like it would be an authentic experience or that I could continue the experience if we didn’t, because I know me, I cannot hide my facial expressions.
‘I think there would have been a disconnect and the viewers would have noticed…
‘So I told him in some capacity we have to talk about this.’
Tyler later hit out at the mothers of his kids, saying: ‘I want them to have their family and leave me alone.’
