A Coronation Street scene may have just dropped a huge clue about the father of Daisy Midgeley’s unborn baby.   

In scenes set to air next week, Daisy (played by Charlotte Jordan, 29) will discover who the father of her child is. 

A new teaser for the moment when the truth is revealed seems to hint at whether it’s Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) or Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard). 

However, in a shocking twist, Daisy decides to keep the news to herself and deletes the confirmation message.  

The message isn’t shown on-screen, meaning viewers will be kept in the dark, along with potential fathers Kit and Daniel, as well as Daisy’s stepmother, Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews). 

Daisy recently learned she was pregnant with her first child, following a fling with her ex, Daniel, and a new romance with Kit.

Though she and Kit are no longer together, he is shocked to learn she might be carrying his child. 

Meanwhile, Daniel panicked upon realising Daisy was pregnant after cheating on his fiancée, Bethany Platt. 

After agreeing to a paternity test, Daisy will receive the results in scenes set to air next week. 

When the message arrives on her phone, Daisy is clearly torn, deep in thought about what the test might reveal. 

She later confides in Jenny that Daniel’s results have come through, but the message only confirms whether or not Daniel is the father. 

Jenny races to see the results and asks Daisy if Daniel is the one. However, Daisy’s unreadable expression leaves Jenny convinced Kit is the father. 

When Jenny presses further, Daisy says nothing, only pulling a face. Jenny, interpreting Daisy’s silence, asks, ‘It’s Kit’s?’ Still, Daisy doesn’t confirm, keeping the same neutral expression. 

Finally, Daisy tells Jenny she won’t be sharing the results with anyone and has deleted the message.

Jenny urges her to reconsider, warning that both men will want answers. But Daisy remains firm, refusing to reveal the father’s idenтιтy. 

But is Jenny on to something? Could Daisy’s cryptic reactions and refusal to discuss Daniel’s paternity be a clue that Kit is the father after all?
