But due to the venue’s close proximity to the fire-ravaged Pacific Palisades, ceremony officials decided to push the show to February.

Handler is hosting the awards show for the third consecutive year, with Wicked, Conclave and Shogun leading the nominations.

As of Friday evening, the Palisades Fire is at 31% containment and the Eaton Fire in Altadena/Pasadena is at 65% containment, per Watch Duty.

Los Angeles premieres for Wolf Man, Unstoppable, Better Man, The Pitt, On Call and The Last Showgirl have all been cancelled as the city grapples with the unprecedented devastation caused by the fires.

The annual BAFTA Tea Party in Beverly Hills was also canceled, and the AFI Awards were postponed.

Beyoncé even postponed the January 14 announcement she had been teasing since her Christmas Day NFL halftime performance.

The devastation in Southern California began unfolding on the morning of January 7 when the combination of heavy wind and a lack of rain created the perfect condition for a brush fire.

Earlier this week, Chelsea took to Instagram to share her heartfelt thoughts about the crisis with her five million followers.

‘My heart breaks for all Angelenos. The destruction we are experiencing is unfathomable,’ the New Jersey native wrote.

She added, ‘This will be an opportunity for us to grow closer as a community, to rebuild, and to demonstrate to other cities what resiliency looks like.

‘We can make LA a stronger, more eco friendly, a more fire-ready and defensible city. We will reach out to each other and welcome each other into the homes we have that are still standing as we rebuild stronger than ever before. That is humanity. This is who we are.

‘Our first responders and brave firefighters who have had to relentlessly fight against these fires and their own exhaustion are our heroes and our graтιтude will never cease. You are our heroes. We are indebted to your courage forever.’
