Kaia Gerber was spotted leaving her daily workout in Los Angeles after her breakup from Austin Butler.

The model, 23, wore a dark grey workout tank top with black leggings and a white hoodie.

She carried a trendy Paloma Wool bag and carried an iced coffee.

The daughter of Cindy Crawford, 58, and Rande Gerber, 62, did not look happy at all.

In fact, she had a rather glum expression on her face as she walked away from the fitness center. 

Kaia and Austin broke up late last month with the Elvis actor, 33, choosing to focus on his career rather than being tied down in a relationship.

Kaia is reportedly blaming her parents for the split, which came in the wake of their decision to question Austin’s intentions after being left troubled by the lack of progress in their relationship.

That interference proved too much for the Oscar-nominated star who didn’t ‘appreciate’ the fact that they had ‘ʙuттed’ into the relationship, and now wants to focus on his burgeoning Hollywood career.

‘What really sealed the deal about the break up is the talk Kaia’s parents had with Austin about his relationship with their daughter,’ an insider told DailyMail.com.

‘He didn’t appreciate the fact they ʙuттed into their relationship. It rubbed Austin up the wrong way.’

In October, DailyMail.com reported that Rande and Cindy sat Austin down for a serious talk to address their fears that their 23-year-old daughter could be wasting the ‘best years of her life’ if he wasn’t ready to commit long term, with the pair reportedly questioning when he might propose.

A second insider said the couple now feel ‘terrible’ that their well-intentioned meddling could have spearheaded the end of their daughter’s romance with Austin.

‘Kaia’s putting on a brave face in public over the break up but the truth is she’s upset,’ they said.

‘She’s partly blaming her parents for the talk they had with Austin telling him he could be wasting the best years of Kaia’s life because he wasn’t making a solid commitment.‘Kaia’s told her parents they had no right to come between them.’

Kaia and Austin were first pictured together in December 2021, just one month after she split from Saltburn heartthrob Jacob Elordi, 27.

The attractive couple went public with their romance in March 2022 when they walked the red carpet at W Magazine‘s pre-Oscars party.

A string of public displays of affection soon followed, first at the Met Gala in May, then at the Cannes Film Festival where they shared a pᴀssionate kiss in front of pH๏τographers.

Austin is close to Kaia’s family having been pictured enjoying a double date with Cindy and Rande at an Italian restaurant in California last May.

He also joined her family on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to celebrate the New Year in January 2024.

But in recent months they had been plagued by speculation they were on the rocks, with Kaia spending her 23rd birthday without the actor in September, while he was absent from their recent family holiday in Mexico.

He is now keen to focus on his career having landed a Best Actor Oscar nomination for his portrayal of Elvis, and was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2023 by Time magazine.

‘Austin’s main focus is his career,’ said an insider. ‘He has enjoyed dating Kaia, but it is hard making everything work. He wants to focus on his career and dating can hamper that.’

Austin was previously in a nine-year relationship with Vanessa Hudgens, 36, a fact which may have played a part in Cindy and Rande’s conversation with him. 

Austin was also was linked to his Elvis costar Olivia DeJonge and actress Lily-Rose Depp before he met Kaia. 

Prior to their fling, Kaia was briefly linked to comedian Pete Davidson, from late 2019 until around February 2020, when she was 18 and he was 26.

Speaking not long after they broke up, Pete said: ‘She’s very young, and I’m f****** going through a lot and it was before I went to rehab.’
